The Hop Kettle Cirencester — Restaurant in Cotswold District

My wife and I have lived in Cirencester for nearly 5 years now. The Hop Kettle is our absolute favourite pub!! Not only are the beers absolutely outstanding, the food is to die for!!!!!! Currently the pop up kitchen has the BBQ Street box. Wow, oh wow!!!!! It’s is out of this universe in taste and flavours!!! ( Dan and Colleagues, your food is the best! thank you!) I’m salivating now, thinking about last night’s delicious meal!!! Our plate’s were overflowing with mouthwatering BBQ meat’s, such as succulent pulled pork, steak slices, homemade Mac cheese, crispy croquette type potato’s, smothered in flavoursome sauces. Lovely healthy portions at VERY reasonable prices (approx £19 pp). So much to describe but you really have to try it yourself! In addition to all of this, you have a selection of some of the world’s finest beers! I can say this as I have travelled around the world a dozen times in my life , often tasting this wonderful beverage. Thank you Hop Kettle!!! You are awesome! Nice comfy , open plan micro / brewery tap room. Always pleasant service and cheerful, reasonable prices considering the town. GF beers are well marked out, vegan ones are not, asked the staff who were helpful and could only find 2 that were isinglass free - sure they have more and would be nice to mark these in the (lovely) UnTapped board -. Street food Mexican on Saturday looked amazing , but again just 1 item marked vegan (side tots) - shame. But aside from that like this place and it's cool...

My friend and I came here on Saturday for drinks and a light meal. There was a great selection of beers on offer as well as a cider, which we tried and loved. The food was superb & cooked to perfection. We had a burger, pulled pork fries and chicken wings. Absolutely delicious! We sat in the courtyard at the back which is a lovely suntrap.
