Goodness, there is just SOOOOOO much choice of independent coffee ☕️ places...each one I have tried has been superior in its own way....T O D A Y, my dog, Norman and I popped our heads into Lynwood and Co and W O W ! ! We were treated like Royalty!! I actually settled into character as the Ladyship that I legitimately am entitled... Norman was like a dog with 3 tails as Dom, one of the lovely guys who spoke to us fed him treats as Norman duly performed trick after trick!! Harry, a fellow lover of ink, made me the most delicious oat milk latté with a dash of honey! I have to say, it really was a delicious blend... I am now spoiled for choice!! I guess Lynwood and Co come high in my recommendations based upon the astoundingly tasty Bacon Sandwich on Sourdough they made me plus when ai suggested they donate a branded Tote Bag for the fab post I shared on my socials Harry actually DID give me one!! OMG!! Joking aside the quality of this Tote is just as fine as the coffee, bacon and bread!!

Treat yourself and pop in for a bacon sarni and a coffee with your furbaby and you are in for a treat!! These guys even give you a flipping blanket if, like me, you prefer the European ambience of outdoor dining!!

Thank YOU Lynwood and Co..."Asta la vista", if...

We arrived Sunday 13 August at 3.45 and ordered two hot drinks and a cake. I was asked if I minded if the drinks were in paper cups, to drink in, as they were closing at 4pm. I said I would like them in mugs as I don’t like paper cups as this wasn’t a takeaway. He agreed to make them in mugs. They took ages to arrive in fact we’d finished the cake and then the drinks arrived in paper cups which I’d expressly said I didn’t want and he’d agreed. The reason given was that it takes ages for them to ‘get out’ if people have mugs at that time. Well perhaps you should close the doors at 3.30 or only serve takeaways for the last part of the day. So I’m afraid we asked for a refund and left although did pay for the cake as we’d eaten it but to be honest it wasn’t a great choice. So altogether poor service and pretty...

The food was very tasty with decent portions. However the service was disappointing. The whole place felt grubby; when we arrived I had to ask for the table to be cleaned and then it was wiped down quickly with no spray so was still sticky. The food took 45 mins so I checked how long the kids’ toasties would be and (when someone finally acknowledged me) was told blankly “£5”. When they came, one had ham which I’d requested without. As we left, we were given 3 loaves of delicious bread so that they didn’t go to waste which was very kind and redeemed them a bit. I’d give them another chance but not on a...

Very unpleasant atmosphere mainly due to a little old woman with glasses whose main job appeared to be being awkward. She was rude and kept asking us to move no matter where we stood. Obviously not a happy bunny. Shouldn't take it out on the customers though. When the coffee arrived it was so small we could hardly see it. A takeaway flat white which costs £3.10 should be more than 2 inches tall. Please see photo. Overall this is the rudest, most overpriced coffee shop I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.
