BURGER & SAUCE - Coventry City Centre — Restaurant in Coventry

I am a frequent customer at Burger and Sauce Coventry and I’m usually happy with the experience and the food… but I would like to bring up an experience I had with the food and staff on Friday-Saturday shift (18/04/2024) at 00:45… My partner went to the branch and ordered burgers for the two of us as a takeaway and he clearly mentioned to remove a specific condiment from the burger as I am allergic to it…They forgot to do so and we realised this mistake when I brought it back home… so I went back there with the food and explained the situation… upon bringing up this issue I was treated horribly by the someone who claimed to be the SUPERVISOR at the store…he was very rude and aggressive and when I asked him to me speak politely his attitude just got worse…he not only refused to replace the burger but challenged me to do something about it…and when I mentioned that I somehow would try to bring this up to the management he walked away without ending the conversation… there was another employee who was taking orders who I tried to speak to but he didn’t try to make the situation any better either… I understand the person at the till was just trying to backup his colleague but THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS DISRESPECTFUL and DISAPPOINTING!!!

As someone who works in the Service sector as well…I always bring THE CUSTOMER IS KING attitude…I want all my customers to leave my restaurant happy and satisfied… at the very least not be treated horribly!!!

I don’t know if the person I spoke to was a SUPERVISOR or not (but he claimed to be)…if he is I have to say the management really needs to reconsider who they make supervisors as this incident is just SICKENING!!

I would like to say this again!!! I have no issues with the food or service you usually have…I would say it’s really good!!! But I can’t let this incident go away...

The place was clean and spacious but could do with more seating as it gets busy quickly. The service was good. The manager explained the menu well and even gave us some free samples to try for upcoming items to be added to the menu. However, the menu itself could be clearer as it doesn't say what's included in the burgers and we had to work it out from the pictures or ask about each one when ordering. The dietary information needs to be included for people with intolerances and/ or allergies e.g. it is not clear which of the signature sauces has mayonnaise in if you had an egg allergy. The Lemon and Herb wings and the Fiery Hot wings were delicious, and would be nice if the Lemon and Herb flavouring was available on chicken strips. The burgers were delicious too and good portion sizes. The Chicken and Cheese Fries was nice but could do with more chicken. The kids enjoyed the Apple and Mango Fruity Refreshers. Unfortunately, they were out of stock with the Strawberry Sunrise Fruity Refreshers drink so couldn't try this one. Overall a good experience considering we were a big group and therefore a large order but the waiting time for the food was not too long. Would recommend. We ate in; not sure about...

After takin' the little bro to the Wave for the afternoon we piled in here for dinner. Ordered a chicken burger, a classic beefburger, wings and a bonus kids chicken bites meal. With drinks and using the available deal (2 meals for £12) our huge feast came to just £20. The bro loves his chicken and we both left here with huge smiles on our faces. My burger was perfect. And this is crucial here. It was perfectly cooked (expected two smash burgers but its a single thick patty), moist, juicy and just crumbled away and melted in the mouth. So perfectly tasty and has not been equalled in two subsequent visits to other branches in Shirley and Link Street where the burger and bun were dry and barely edible. This however was king. The bun was as soft as that beautiful patty. The staff were excellent. Friendly and engaging. The food was all freshly cooked and really hit the spot. We were still talking about it a week later. Top props to the staff and chef on duty during our visit. I'm not a huge fan of the fries B&S use, they are too thin, but as these were cooked fresh they were really good and held their heat for...
