FLORI'S PIZZA — Restaurant in Coventry

We used to love to order pizza from Flori's and ordered often. But after our last experience we decided to never order from here ever again. Your delivery driver was extremely rude. We live in a newly built area and for some reason Uber maps takes people to the parallel road, which I reported to Uber repeatedly. I always include a very detailed description of how to reach our home. So far, aside from Flori's pizza, everyone else managed to find the house. On the odd cases where people called, I went to their location, which was right around the corner. The driver of Flori's pizza couldn't find our house because he went to the complete opposite road and I have no idea why. The address clearly stated my road name, not the road name he gave. When I tried to locate him to go towards him to pick up the order, he started yelling at me, telling me that he is an expert driver and no one can find this place, he lives close, I don't understand what he is saying, he has other deliveries etc. (by the way he was already late to us). I told him to stop yelling at me but it didn't matter and he hung up on me. When my husband went to pick up the food, he was 10 mins away by walking. He didn't shout at my husband like he did to me, and my best guess is it's because he is a male and he is a tough looking person. I do not appreciate the yelling when I was trying to help him out. He was so late that the food was now all cold and he had the audacity to shout at me. It's okay if you can't find a place but saying that you're an expert driver and you know better, no one can find my house... At this point it doesn't matter how good the pizza is, I won't be ordering from here again. And the only reason I gave 2 stars was because the pizza was good.

Well, what can I say? That was THE very best pizza I have had in this city, without a doubt.

The dough was perfect, crispy crust around the edges, soft and chewy on the base. I could tell it was hand made and very well made.  I could happily eat the dough on it's own.  As for the toppings, a generous amount of cheese the tomato sauce was lush and it was a treat to get actual peices of meat you could see and taste rather than the typical chopped up little pieces hidden under the cheese that seems to be the rule in most pizza takeaways these days.  And the chicken wings were perfect, juicy well cooked chicken pieces with a tasty bbq sauce and that touch of char I love.

I predict this will be THE top pizza joint in Cov once word gets out.

The other thing I like is their focus on a simple menu where the pizza is the shinning star rather then try to be all things to all people selling everything but the kitchen sink.

Very, very good.  My food was early and hot, hooray and as you can tell I'm very happy.  My mouth is still salivating 20 minutes after eating, always a great sign. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I tried to leave this review on just eat but...

Terrible place and horrible people. I went in there asking for one of their deals. They don’t have anyone dedicated to the counter so the delivery boy had served me. He didn’t know any of the deals posted on the window and was hard to talk to. Eventually he took my order and it was the wrong pizza. He was happy to take my money but waited 1 hour and 15 mins until he started making my pizza. I had asked 4-5 times for an update on the pizza, in which I was told “5 minutes” each time. The delivery boy stank of weed when walking back into the shop and continued to have a laugh with the kitchen staff instead of making a pizza which a customer had already paid for and waited over an hour for. The food or the wait wasn’t worth it and will never go back to such a bad place for an easy meal. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the same to other paying customers.
