Ordered for takeout like i usually do. I’ve never had a problem ever. I have been one of your loyal customers for years. But after today, will never go back to you guys ever again. I recieved one wrong item from my order, so decided to ring up to let them know, to then be told that i have to wait 15-20 minutes for a remake which was fine. Was called again by the same staff member to then be told that i have to give the wrong item that was sent to me back to the driver, which i said was fine. Asked to speak to the manager and the manager seemed to refuse to speak to me, making it seem like they wanted the staff member to sort out the problem because apparently it was his fault. As a manager of another establishment in town this is very poor customer service, making your staff member speak to the customer instead of your management, it sounded like this staff member was being bullied to be honest, he honestly sounded so uncomfortable to speak to me on the phone. I asked to speak to the manager again and he said one moment, for him to then hung up on me which im assuming the manager told him to do so. I was then told that they are unable to make the dish at all, so i replied to ask for a full refund and i also said i would return all the items to the driver, to then be told no. Why should i wait 30 more minutes for one dish when the rest of my dishes are going cold without any compensation whatsoevet for this inconvinence. We were trying to celebrate a birthday and you have ruined it. Is it a new management? New staff? If so they need retraining. I am appalled the way this situation was handled. Read moreAfter going to the noodle bar for the last few years more for the food than the service, I can after today's experience say that I'll never be going back. It was our first time back since having a child who was with us, so thankfully downstairs was open in order to get the pushchair in. The women serving first asked us if we could go upstairs even though downstairs was open for business but she eventually realised that the pushchair wouldn't go up the stairs. She took our order and immediately gave us the bill then demanding that we pay upfront before we had even recieved our food in which we replied that we would pay after eating as has always been the case. She explained that she was told by her manager who wasn't even there to take money off us upfront which we were not prepared to do. Our food arrived quickly as it usually does but we were immediately interrupted by a waiter from upstairs who again demanded that we pay before eating the food and again we refused but this time our refusal was not to be accepted from this waiter who said he's going to need payment before eating our food as previous customers have walked out without paying. I believe that because we were seated downstairs and also that because we are white British to be the reason why they were so insistent on taking payment from us before eating. I class this as being borderline racist and guarantee the same wouldn't of been expected from the many native Asian customers they get at noodle bar. In the end we refused to eat the food and of course hand over any money in which the waiter made no attempt to correct the situation and was more than happy to see us leave and lose our business once...
Read moreWent for lunch today with my mum and her friend, asked to be seated on the upper level near the window and were told no even though other customers were seated there and no reserved signs were placed on the tables. When it came to ordering, waiters were a bit pushy and trying to rush us. Food was not the best, massive portions with very little flavors, each plate coming out 7 minutes in between. The clearing of our table was done whilst I was still picking at my food, even after saying I was not yet done !
