Disappointing Service at Roasters Peri Peri Overshadows Meal

My recent experience at Roasters Peri Peri was unfortunately marred by exceptionally poor customer service, leaving a sour taste despite previous, more accommodating visits. While the food itself has been generally acceptable, the unwillingness to fulfill a simple request and the subsequent rude and aggressive attitude from staff is unacceptable.

On this particular visit, I requested to have the sauce put directly on top of my chips, a small alteration I've had fulfilled at this very establishment in the past without issue. This is preferable to receiving a separate packet, ensuring the chips are evenly coated and ready to eat.

To my surprise, this simple request was met with a blunt refusal. When I politely mentioned that this had been done for me on previous occasions, the staff member became notably rude and aggressive in their tone, adamant that they "don't do that." This inconsistency in service is frustrating, but the aggressive manner in which it was communicated was far more concerning.

While Roasters Peri Peri may offer a menu of peri peri chicken and sides that can be appealing, the inconsistency in service and the overtly hostile attitude encountered on this occasion are deeply disappointing. A simple request, especially one that has been accommodated before, should not be met with such negativity. This experience has made me hesitant to return, despite any prior positive encounters. Customer service is a key ingredient in any dining experience, and in this instance, Roasters Peri Peri failed...

WOW What nice people, What delicious food. In the mood for chicken? forget the rest. My friend heard that Warwickshire social care had returned me to an empty home with no care and no food, One phone call from London and in less than an hour a most courteous and thoughtful gentleman turned up .He waited patiently as I manoeuvred my wheelchair to open the door.Seeing the extent of my physical and sensory disability,he untied the carrier bag where I could see clearly and unpacked the contents slowly enough for me to keep up with his presentation of the contents opening anything I would struggle with; asking first if it would help for him to do so, not treating me like a cabbage on wheels as most NHS nurses and care staff do. He checked that I could reach everything safely and if I was okay with drinking pop straight from the can and having a picnic set out for me on the stairs.It may not have been loaves and fishes, but I had enough to feed me...

If I could give minus stars I would - don’t order from here if you expect good food / good customer service… sadly we waited 2 hours for food, called the restaurant 1h30 in and they claimed the driver had left - called 30 minutes after when it still hadn’t arrived and then they said the driver has left 15 minutes ago now so they lied & when it was finally delivered they forgot the drink & the food itself was awful. I ordered mild and it was definitely hot - called the shop they were extremely unhelpful and although they admitted they were wrong by offering me compensation of a free burger meal - when I requested a refund instead (as I do not want to eat there again so a free meal doesn’t do much!) they were extremely rude saying the most they will do is only refund the missing drink (not the incorrect order or delivery charge) if I came to the shop and were very patronising and antagonising - such a shame they don’t value...
