Disappointing Service at Roasters Peri Peri Overshadows Meal
My recent experience at Roasters Peri Peri was unfortunately marred by exceptionally poor customer service, leaving a sour taste despite previous, more accommodating visits. While the food itself has been generally acceptable, the unwillingness to fulfill a simple request and the subsequent rude and aggressive attitude from staff is unacceptable.
On this particular visit, I requested to have the sauce put directly on top of my chips, a small alteration I've had fulfilled at this very establishment in the past without issue. This is preferable to receiving a separate packet, ensuring the chips are evenly coated and ready to eat.
To my surprise, this simple request was met with a blunt refusal. When I politely mentioned that this had been done for me on previous occasions, the staff member became notably rude and aggressive in their tone, adamant that they "don't do that." This inconsistency in service is frustrating, but the aggressive manner in which it was communicated was far more concerning.
While Roasters Peri Peri may offer a menu of peri peri chicken and sides that can be appealing, the inconsistency in service and the overtly hostile attitude encountered on this occasion are deeply disappointing. A simple request, especially one that has been accommodated before, should not be met with such negativity. This experience has made me hesitant to return, despite any prior positive encounters. Customer service is a key ingredient in any dining experience, and in this instance, Roasters Peri Peri failed...

I ordered mild and it was definitely hot - called the shop they were extremely unhelpful and although they admitted they were wrong by offering me compensation of a free burger meal - when I requested a refund instead (as I do not want to eat there again so a free meal doesnāt do much!) they were extremely rude saying the most they will do is only refund the missing drink (not the incorrect order or delivery charge) if I came to the shop and were very patronising and antagonising - such a shame they donāt value...
