To save reading the below- perfect, hot, tasty, affordable food, Perfect Pizza, Perfect Burger, even better Fries!! Pasta is near perfect too.
Imagine this review is from 12 months ago when we went Wow, recommended, best food I've had in years.
Fries (yes thin fried Chips) Insanely Perfect, every bleeding one! Kudos!
A Mixed Seafood Pasta, tasty/hot/filling/(shells on most) perfect. Burger, near 100% Kids Bolognese Pasta and Chicken Nuggets, tasty perfect. Atmosphere is slightly Mediterranean, Lovely Brewed (smelled and tasted to me like) Lavazza Black Coffee.
The place is hot, maybe too hot for some, but I loved everything they did to create the ambience and culinary experience.
Don't get me wrong, the pasta isn't likely to have seen a Pasta Making Machine, but at the good price and quality foods you get more than you pay for, Bravo Gerardo's graze mille (but spoke in Yorkshire). Latest review, we went again to Gerardo's this time twice! Fries (yes think Fried Chips) still Perfecto!
Pizza - tasted better than Adriatic Pizzas That same taste of perfect dough cooked likely in a stone oven, several places cook this way and you cannot get better Pizza!
Burger, even better than before, stunningly well thought out filling and patty, toasted/crisped Brioche Incredible, the perfect Burger.
Lasagne, same lovely chunky Bolognese Mince as their Ragu only packed tight and cooked in a Large Ramekin thing.
Mixed Seafood Pasta(again), boringly again Perfect!! Sooo so yummy (It's not lost on me the Pasta is likely shop bought and the seafood frozen. But for the price and taste it couldn't be more perfect!
Spied a hotdog meal and was so jealous, it looked stunning for size and the money, but I was so full after finishing everyone else's meal plus a Nutella Ice-Cream (really tasty Chocolate Ice-cream with Chopped (likely) Hazel Nuts.
Also spied an anti-pastoc that looked perfect, only so many calories I should eat in a day. I may have doubled my daily count as it was.
A lady came in with a family and complained from second one, every table had the Goldilocks problem. She even reviewed the food as atrocious without ordering any, safe to say she made her family go to a different establishment that she already had her heart set on and belly.
And to the reviewer who said the food wasn't good because she went in at NewYears and ordered a Sausage Buttie, don't order a Sausage Butty from an Italian Restaurant.

Didnât know what a Birra moretti was (even though it was on draught) so ordered a peroni for ease. Bland food, informed waitress - from that moment our food was no longer placed down with care, it was almost slammed in front of us. Not attentive, didnât check our meals were okay, especially after they knew we werenât having a nice time. Slop, watery food Flat strong bow, informed waitress, no apology, no âIâll get you another oneâ or take it off our bill. Head of house apologised that food was bland but didnât offer any alternative Menu doesnât state shell on prawns My main was the exact same as my started mixed with some spaghetti. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said âno itâs not, it has more prawnsâ. I obviously wouldnât have ordered this dish if I had known it was going to be the same with âmore prawnsâ and pasta added. Rude manager, confrontational, wasnât wearing a mask/visor & entered our personal space, when I asked her to keep her distance she stated she didnât need to wear a mask because we were outside despite me explaining social distancing. Told my partner he was being aggressive when he asked for the bill minus the two dishes containing slop. Manager stated we were just trying to get a free meal, we said this wasnât true as we had both had one mouthful of our meal so therefore werenât benefiting from this outing. The manager stormed off & said she would have to ask the chefs to see if we didnât have to pay for the meal - she was the manager so I donât really understand.
