Extremely Disappointing – Poor Communication and Not Turkish Cuisine

As a family of five new to Burton, we were looking forward to a nice dinner out. Instead, the experience was frustrating from the start.

We paid for our meal, only to be told afterward that the main platter would take 40–45 minutes. This should’ve been made clear beforehand—especially with young children in tow. We were told the kids' meal (doner and chips) would come out quickly, but it didn’t. After repeated delays and vague promises of “five more minutes,” the food finally arrived nearly an hour later.

Sadly, the food itself was just as disappointing. We came expecting authentic Turkish cuisine but received something closer to South Asian-style kebabs—bland and poorly prepared. The meal was misrepresented and overpriced.

Overall, the long wait, poor communication, and inauthentic food made for a deeply unsatisfying experience. Please be honest with your customers. We left disappointed and won’t be returning.
