Really disappointing, we ordered an iced latte which came out white.. asked for an extra shot of espresso which was definitely instant coffee (the picture of the latte is after this extra shot was added..). We also had sausage baps, the sausages were clearly cooked then reheated, plus I would class them as chipolata size wise. The kitchen is a small section at the back and you can hear the cooking *cough* microwave. There were only 2 other tables who were already sat with their food, but we were left waiting a fair amount of time for the bill. The salad was also quite dried out. I’m not usually picky but the quality just was not great and quite disappointing as we lined this up as our last stop for late breakfast before heading home.

The Waveney Womens Wanderers descended on Squiers of Southwold this morning, for our refreshment break, and we couldn't have been more impressed with how quaint it was inside. Even though there were 12 of us, the staff were super efficient, and we were all very impressed with the food and drinks we were served. We only had scones or cakes, but did see a couple of incredible looking fried breakfasts being served to other customers too. Love that you have to pay your bill in the sweet shop, as it gave many of us the opportunity to buy a variety of sweets we remembered as children. Oh and the tea room welcomes customers with dogs too, so that was brilliant for us. Thank you Squiers - We will be back :-)

We always aim to visit the sweet shop in Southwold and for a long time this one was always the one. Now as an adult it's great as there is loads of selection (sweets and chocolate) but as we found with our kids... as a small child you can't really see more than what's in the cabinets at the front. On our trip in recently we had also planned to have something in the cafe but unfortunatly despite it being a Saturday it was closed. Still, if your passing its still worth a look (unless you don't like sweets I guess!!)

Do not eat here on the pain of death.

Quaint is not to be confused with complete refurb. Toilet is from 1940 with a howling wind through the window. If you have any issues with mobility you’ll not reach it up the rickerty stairs.

Coffee had no coffee, brunch / breakfast is fried awfulness. Ingredients are cheap. Staff in the cafe have no idea of ingredients in the food- so don’t go if you have any allergies.

We all felt sick a few hours later and our toddler threw up in the car- lucky her removed it from her system.

The only redeeming feature is the sweet shop & lady behind the counter . (And the cute knitted items for charity) Again, what’s with the war time facade?

We were lead here by good reviews on Google maps- who are you people? Where on earth have you eaten previously to warrant any review over 1 star?

Shocking. Go to bread & butter down the road. Save...

We usually review a place before we eat out but as we were in lovely Southwold we thought the eatery would be as quaint as the rest of the town. We had a long wait, 30 mins, for our food which was the worst breakfast we've ever had. The sausages were of cheap quality and bacon practically raw. The waitress did her job and it wasn't her fault she had to bring out such terrible food. 2 other couples left while we sat there and hindsight we should have done the same. The boy sat in resturant was in dirty clothes and discussing doctors appointment for skin problem within ear shot. The icing on the cake was the bill, 75pp for decaf tea bag plus 50p for Oat milk making a large pot of tea costing £6.50 This cafe let's down the reputation...
