Do not miss Bernie’s! This charming old micropub turned intimate restaurant serves truly incredible food and is run by a warm, welcoming team.

We booked out the whole venue for a private dinner of 27 people, and the night was exceptional - everyone has been raving about the food since! I had the goat’s cheese and calamari starter and shared both the Thai green monkfish curry and the pork belly with a friend - all four dishes were outstanding. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection.

A huge thank you to the chef and the team for accommodating us and delivering such a wonderful meal. The food here is consistently excellent and great value for money.

This wasn’t my first visit either — I’ve also enjoyed the steak, panko prawns, cajun chicken and summer salad starter on a previous occasion, and I’ve never had a bad or even average dish here. It’s always a 10/10 experience.
