Buffy's — Restaurant in England

On a short visit to the very picturesque Bude, our party of six needed feeding. Due to the fact that we are all vegetarians, our needs were quite specific and, given that Bude is a relatively small town, we thought we would find it difficult to find somewhere that catered to our needs. We need not have worried because Buffy's provided great food and service. Overall, they easily exceeded our highest expectations and did so by some margin. When we arrived, Buffy's was quite busy and the indoor seating was full. However, a very nice lady (who I believe is the owners wife) let us know that we would not have to wait too long. As we had a few OAPs with us, we decided to wait. Quite unexpectedly, the very nice lady spent most of our waiting time with us and we all had a very nice chat which made the wait for the table fly by. Once seated, our orders were taken very quickly and in no time at all, we were enjoying some delicious, fresh as well as perfectly cooked lunch. The service throughout was exceptional and I noted that every table was hardly empty for a few minutes before being occupied by new patrons. Someone in our group has been back three times this holiday all ready. It’s easy to see why as the waffles and pancakes are amazing and made with high quality ingredients.

Staff were super friendly and helpful.

I had the Mediterranean pancake with vegan feta. Tasted amazing, one particular thing I liked was the super tasty chilli sauce on it (flavourful while also having a pleasant kick to it).

We also had a milkshake which was made from really good ice cream, makes all the difference.

Would be good if they did smoothies as good to get your veg/fruit hit but maybe they will...

We had the pleasure of discovering Buffy’s while at Bude last week. Advertising waffles and pancakes, but offering so much more! Back home now and still thinking of the best ever bubble & squeak with poached egg I enjoyed there. My husband is trying to recreate the Mediterranean veg & feta pancake he had (he rarely cooks!) So, I thought I better leave a review. Great food, great value, great music and friendly vibe too - what more could you want? Yes- they serve alcohol too...
