Burger King — Restaurant in England

Your staff member is disgusting. I never leave poor reviews but the man who just served me has set a new low for service. All I asked for was a whopper meal with no sauce and he talked down to me so much I felt as though he was saying I wasn’t good enough to order from him. He said something and I misheard and thought he asked what size so I said “regular” and he said “no I’m asking about your modifications. No ketchup? No Mayo?” I said yes neither he looked me dead in the eyes and said “do you even know what a whopper is?” I take trains every other week and come here very regularly. I order the same thing. Yes sir I do and no one has ever had an issue other than you. After a lovely lecture about how this isn’t a McDonald’s I finally got to pay for my food and he slid my drink over to me with a dirty look then plonked my food down and sarcastically said “I hope you enjoy it”. I work in customer service I know customers can twist words in reviews but I said nothing and I mean nothing to antagonise this man other than my order and the word “yes” to his patronising comments....

We were really looking forward to a Burger King meal before getting our train as we don’t often have it. We arrived disappointed that there was nowhere to sit and eat it! We had to take it to our platform to eat. Thankfully there were empty chairs. We ordered 2 normal meals, one chicken burger, one beef burger, two kids meals and onion rings which came to over £30!! 😱 The beef burger was literally dripping in grease and was disgusting. The chicken burger was ok, no major complaints. Kids didn’t complain about theirs. Chips weren’t seasoned at all, completely bland and dry. The chips here used to be so tasty and my favourite out of all the fast food chains. The onion rings tasted like they’d been cooked the day before and reheated. Totally disgusting. The guys behind the counter were rude and dismissive. They looked like they needed a good wash as did the restaurant. The counter didn’t have napkins and was hardly stocked with anything, was dirty with rubbish piling up on one side. We waited about 20 mins to be served so not “fast food”. All in all a terrible experience....

What an absolute joke of an affordable fast food outlet. Ordered a bacon burger and fries, nearly collapsed when the price was quoted, just short of £10! Whilst waiting and watching the staff perform what should in theory be an easy task and well rehearsed, especially when 90% of customer will be looking for a fast option before boarding their trains. It was like the blind leading the blind, no one knew what their roles were. If management could have seen what I and the people in front of me witnessed, they’d be overhauling the place, retraining the staff, and instilling a work ethic that doesn’t portray incompetence! It took 10 mins for my order to arrive, and my partner witnessed the guy in front was still waiting for his more than 15 minutes later. Be assured I’ll never be using this place again for all the above reasons and will think twice about using any of their...
