Lebaneat at York Station is a hidden gem for travelers. Conveniently tucked away on Platform 12, it’s perfect for grabbing a quick bite before hopping on your train, though it’s not the easiest to access unless you're already at the station. Despite its small size, the food packs a punch and is reasonably priced, especially for station dining.

As fans of Lebanese cuisine, we were impressed by the vegetarian options. We tried the wraps and salads, and both were delicious. While it seems some of the food is pre-prepared and reheated, it still tasted fresh—no complaints there!

There are a few chairs and tables available if you want to eat on-site, but we opted for takeaway. If you’re passing through York Station and craving flavorful, affordable food, Lebaneat is a...

Lebaneat at York Railway Station provides the ultimate treat for Vegans (and I am sure equally for non-Vegans too)! If you, like us, have had that feeling of being second-, third- or even lower-deckcitizens when it comes to eating out, then it is high-time you visit Lenaneat at York Railway station. Delicious, wholesome, plant-based options are creatively produced and efficiently served with a generous choice of hot and cold dishes. Lots of options for meat-eaters too. I had a delicious lentil soup with Lebanese bread and my husband had an inspired pasta dish (Kushari). Both were delicious and the staff were lovely, very helpful and charming. We will certainly make it our first port of call on future...

2nd time this has happened. Limp brown rotting salad 2 days before it's supposed 'use by' Bad enough no cutlery for the salad but don't really want to eat it now anyways! Imagine if this was a meat based salad TWO DAYS before it's use-by! They made me a fresh one the last time ( I was eating in ) and said 'it never happens' well guess I'm just unlucky huh? Can't take it back now as it's take away. Photo's sent to York Council Environmental health. LEBANEAT need to re-consider their 'USE BY' date policy as this is the 2nd rotting salad I've had from them now.

EDIT - they followed up, asking me to oontact them, I tried TWICE with no response...

Food came out fast, but: - there were small lamb bones in the lamb shwarma wrap - the kushari had a hard object that I bit down on (rock/sand/charcoal?) - kushari came out really hot, and the plastic container that it was in became really hot to handle - the shwarmas had tinfoil bits in the food, from being cut with a dull knife? - the tables and fake grass floor have seen some better days - make sure to being cash if you have foreign cards, seems like US cards not accepted at least Maybe they are limited being in a train station, but I just had much higher expectations due to the 4.8 rating in Google maps (as of writing this).
