Locked in Games York — Attraction in Great Britain

Fantastic first experience of an Escape Room! Our family decided to try an Escape Room during our recent holiday in York and so glad we chose Locked In Games! On arriving we got a warm welcome in a really nice setting. Our lovely Gamesmaster took us through the game format in the cool waiting area and the excitement started to build! We did the Caught in the Act game and were led into the spacious game room. A monitor gives you the timer countdown and also clues when you need them! The variety of puzzles were really good, something for all the different brains in a family! Price for the game was very good for the experience and amount of entertainment we had. We played Boneyard Cemetery a few weeks ago (end October). There were 2 of us and we have played several escape rooms before. We both really enjoyed the room because there were a good mix of puzzles and an excellent host. We had enough well-timed hints to allow us to escape just before the hour is up - perfect(!) and we appreciate that this relies on a skilled host. The locks are in good condition and although it was a dark room (in keeping with the theme) we had a torch each and both worked well. Other useful info. Went with my girlfriend and had an absolutely fantastic time in the boneyard cemetery escape room. There were technical difficulties at the start but the staff were super friendly and apologetic they offered us the other rooms or to have one of them give the clues in person however we ended up staying and they got everything working within 5 minutes (they were really down to earth and had some convos with us to keep us company) .
