Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

What is happening with this place . Visited today , hubby ordered drinks and I brought 2 toasted sandwiches , after my husband was served his drinks order the person serving swiftly got her phone out of her pocket ignored me and disappeared leaving me stood ! If it wasn’t for another more responsible happier member of staff to serve me, I assume I would be still stood now . If this is how the newest member of staff is going to treat people then the regular customers will soon start to leave . The friendly atmosphere is sadly no longer there, on many days it’s becoming more like a crèche with longer standing staff left to carry the less happier one who clearly need to decide there in the wrong job as a smile wouldn’t go a miss...

This coffee place has wonderful, polite staff who take the time to make the perfect coffee everytime. This may take a little extra time but it's so worth it, the staff here are a credit to the Costa brand. We have been here when Customers have been in a hurry and sometimes a bit rude to the staff, to be honest if you're in a hurry this is probably not the place for you, but if you want a great cup of coffee made with care give this place a chance.
