Online order return declined by staff who reported:-
It smelt of after-shave and was 'covered' in it. I accept that it is possible to have some fragrance but it was not all over it as claimed. I wore it for 5 minutes and got ready to leave to work. Partner said it doesn't fit so I took it off and decided to return it. I had worn a fragrance (which one applies to skin) not a suit jacket.
Understandably the return was declined. I have no issue with that. But the exaggeration was unnecessary.
However for good measure the staff member (male) added that:-

One needs to do that to see if a garment ordered online fits There was no sign of being worn for any prolonged period. It was taken off and placed in its packing within minutes. It was clean and essentially unworn. This extra assertion was not required.
The staff called me and demanded to know the exact time when I will be picking up the item in a rather abrupt manner. And no we were never in...
Read moreWhat is it about car parks with stores that do not think through traffic management... The M&S car park is accessed by a single lane in each direction with no visibility of the parking, when the store and thus the car park is busy the waiting cars back up on the approach road. Taxis cannot get in to collect fares without driving on the wrong side of the road at oncoming traffic and if you are disabled you have to wait with the other cars who cannot park in disabled spaces (if one is available) and if there is not one available when you get into the park you have to then leave as the normal spaces are not big enough for safe access etc. and there is no holding area for disabled. The store is fine and with a good sized food hall, a nice cafe/restaurant and a foreign exchange, a pity that there is not an escalator for down as well as up as if you don’t like lifts the stairs are a significant challenge for...

Also, thanks for the prawns too, also out of date. We trusted that by going to m&s that we would be paying that little extra for quality, FRESH food to ensure a perfect Christmas meal. It never occurred to us to check that the food sold for Christmas day, Would be fresh and within it's use by date!!! It wasn't reduced or set apart from any of the other food. So thanks M&S. Next year we'll go somewhere else and hopefully have something edible on Christmas day. You suck! Went to buy a turkey and...
