Update: Nearly a year later... I was in the mood for ice cream so I stopped in. I wanted ice cream on a waffle. They had my fave flavors: chocolate and vanilla/honeycomb. But! They wouldn't let me choose the flavor that was put on the waffle!! I bought 2 single scoops in those flavors. Come to find out, they gave me vanilla, which I froze and saved for my morning coffee. But it was sour so it didn't work. I'm never coming back. Cute decor doesn't make up for bad food and customer service. Spent £11 and I should have gotten Ben and Jerry's for £4 and had ice cream for a week!
Original Review: I am new in town and am trying the local restaurants. I had a choice between this and another dessert shop. Unfortunately I chose this one without reading the reviews. I like to give businesses with 3 starts a chance to boost their ratings. I ordered dinner and dessert at 8:00pm and received an email stating that my order was pending and then accepted. This made me very happy because I haven't been able to change my cell phone to a local number yet. But, if they can email me - I can work with that. They quoted 50 min - 1 hour waiting time, so I started making some sides to go with the dinner I ordered.
Over an hour and a half later, I do not have my food. I have reached out to them twice through email, because I am not able to reach them via voice. I let them know how their delivery person can reach me through talk/text if necessary. No response.
Their website has a 'live agent.' So I contacted that and was told the contact the restaurant directly. Whomp whomp.
I can't imagine that the food would be hot - even if it gets here. I have to go to sleep in an hour and now I'm just going to have the sides for dinner.
Others have reviewed that they have good food. I will give them a chance and stop in if I'm in their area. But, as of right now, no food, contact through email regarding a delay/further wait time/issues contacting me - I have no choice but to give it one star, and hope they do...

We placed the order just after 12:00am and they confirmed the order for delivery for 1:35am and even said it was out for a delivery half an hour before it was meant to be delivered which we thought was good service. However it went past the expected time by 15 mins so we gave them a call and was told it would be with us shortly. 25 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived so we called asking for them to cancel the order as it was over 2 hours after ordering and 35 minutes late. They then informed us that our order hadn’t left the shop yet, and that they were waiting for a confirmation from us despite us ringing them 25 minutes earlier? The man on the phone was rude telling us to “shut up and listen” and claiming that we were lying. They said they had tried to ring us just after ordering but we had no number of theirs in our call history. This became quite a heated discussion when all we wanted to do was cancel our order as our guests who ordered some food had left as it got very late. We weren’t too bothered about the wait as we would of attempted ordering from there again another time, but the rudeness from the man on the phone was unpleasant and rude, and made us very uncomfortable. Read morePlaced an order for a few drinks and a dessert, waited and waited then called and told they tried to deliver but no one was in, well obviously we were in they had just ignored the note about our doorbell not working.. spoke to about 5 or 6 different ppl at the store and was told I'd have to wait another hour for the delivery this would be around 10 30 PM after we ordered at 7 30 PM. Asked for money back and got told we would have to contact just eat. Spoke to just eat and they said the store marked us as delivered so no refund can be given. Spoke to the store again and then they dropped a real gem.. because customers lie and claim money back when they have delivered food they will mark all orders as complete even if they have not completed the order as this protects them from dishonest customers.. so in their exact words you have one option wait for them to deliver and how long is a piece of string for the time.. honestly the food is nice but you are risking sanity points by going with this lot.. oh and Google reviews does not exist to them as they flat out denied ever receiving a bad review in the 5 years they...
