I’m genuinely disappointed with how far Phat Buns has fallen. I used to be a regular customer because their food was consistently good and flavorful. One of the things that initially attracted me was that their food is halal, which is great — but sadly, that’s about the only positive left. Over time, the quality has gone downhill significantly. The burgers, which once tasted fresh and juicy, are now dry, poorly assembled, and lack the punch they once had. The sides are often cold or stale, and overall, the meals feel rushed and careless. It’s clear that attention to detail and care in preparation have taken a backseat. Now there sider burgers are very small comparer to the price. For tiny burgers for two costed us 16 pounds for a meal. It's honestly disappointing to see a place that once stood out become just another below-average fast food spot. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on bringing back the standard they once had. For now, I won’t be returning

While staying near Fosse Park on a visit to Leicester, I found Phat Buns online and thought I’d give them a try. Despite being relatively quiet in terms of customers, I was surprised to have waited approximately 20 minutes for my food to be ready. I opted to take away rather than to eat in. The chicken patty itself was tasty but the burger was overloaded with Cheetos. In addition to being in the burger, it was stuck on top of a big blob of melted cheese as what can only be described as a weird sort of garnish. As you might imagine, this made it an extremely messy affair when attempting a bite, with more of it ending up on the floor than in my mouth. The crinkle fries were a bit on the soggy side and weren’t that great. Overall a pretty disappointing and underwhelming experience for me, I wouldn’t return.

My time here was absolutely horrid the lack of customer service was shameful and all employees had headphones in. The customer service was so bad that the cook made his friend food while we had been waiting over 30 minutes for 2 burger ( while the shop was empty) the only positive was the store was clean. Another issues was staff were in their phones and completely disregarded us as customers. It’s over priced! The food is very bland the Cheetos tasted stale and the meat was a bit meh. The potato tots were very filthy greasy and also tasted out of date. I was very unhappy with the service and food. I will never be returning here.

Popped down because the Instagram page looked amazing. I ordered a single Angus burger in a brioche bun , which was £5.50. I do believe the menu is overly complex for no reason. There was only 1 lady which were on tills as well as making the burgers, and she did not change her gloves after using the tills, touching her phone and making the burger- I found this unhygienic and off putting especially during these unsafe times as extra hygiene precautions should be taken, therefore I was not satisfied. Hygiene was therefore poor. The waiting time was rather long as I was the only customer (around 10 mins) and half way eating the burger, I noticed it was quite red/pink, this threw me off. After all of this, judging on the taste of the burger, it’s definitely just a standard burger, definitely not gourmet and nothing special about it. Not worth the price and I will not be returning after my unsatisfactory experience. Lots of...

Wouldn't even give it 1 star as after waiting an hour and having a confirmation order number for my order from just eat, to be told on the phone that they hadn't cancelled I'm the order and there just eat wasn't working properly. If its not working then turn off the order system so that people can't order. I over heard them talking that I wasn't the only order that had been cancelled so I feel for who ever the other people in my position feel.

I was asked to order on their website and gave me a 10% off code which is less than the 20% I got off from just eat in the first place for spending over £25. Now not being able to order from anywhere else as I have to be up for work at 3am I've been left very disappointed as being the first time I'd found this place I was very excited to try what sounded like a really good concept of takeaway. Obviously a good idea that isn't being...
