Eikona — Restaurant in England

Customer service was abysmal. When I came in one of the chefs was in the middle of quitting. He was shouting the place down and the lady "taking orders" just smirked, made some jokey comment about the situation and then pretty much ignored me. As I was paying by card I had to use their new app system which was fine but the app was down...which again I understand happens..so I said I would pay cash which the lady said was fine but she then proceeded to ignore my outstretched hand of cash and answered a phone call (granted it was to a colleague about the app being down but I feel my order should have dealt with first as I had now been stood there basically ignored for about 30m.) While still on the phone she proceeded to half heartedly tell her colleague to take my order. The order arrived promptly and the food was fine but I've never seen customer service so bad. If the lady had simply apologised about the behaviour of the cook and the app being down and taken my cash and then dealt with the app problem I totally would have understood. There is also no sense of comraderie between the staff. The whole time I was there they were just complaining at each other in front of customers. Food: fine, wait time for food: fine. But the atmosphere and the approximate 40 minutes I waited to actually place my order was not fine. Went in to this fine establishment on my quest for food when I was met by a lumbering staff member.

"what do you want" he mumbled, coldy under his breath

"what do you have, fine sir" I asked, weary as he sharpened the large axe he welded

"not much" he charmed back sharply

Unsure of what to make of this situation, and seeing things were about to kick off, I got out of there.

A week went by, feeling safe, until one day a small package arrived in the mail

"what's this" I wondered, as I fumbly opened the the package

I gasped, dropping the package in horror, as before me was the decapitated head of a French foreign minister with a note, decorated with glitter, reading the words "your next"

I came in tonight after my shift they was two young girls bullying a women, and the staff allowing it as he was "freinds" with the two girls and whispering to the girls about another paying customer I was stood with this women and she was absolutely lovely I think it's disgusting that the staff aloud those girls to scream and throw stuff at this women and laugh about it. Pure mean girls and a massive shame on this takeaway I will not be coming in anymore if that's the type of place people allow to...
