Silvers Bar — Restaurant in England

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, food took a really long time to come for what we ordered and when it came it was only lukewarm . The fish we ordered was bland and didn't taste fresh. The kebab was cold and had grissle, no real place to make the wrap. Said it came with three sauces but only got one. But the hanging kebab did look spectacular and was a great idea. Burger had gherkins on it and wasn't asked if we wanted it. Coffees were lovely and we enjoyed them. Nice decor and range of drinks, music was a bit to mainstream and not fitting with the perceived look of the place. Possibly a new bartender but was grabbing cocktail glasses by the top rims with fingers when serving, not good when been handling cash etc.

Private rooms are great but has the flaw of pumping the main rooms music through, so when the dj turns up the volume it also makes the rooms volume increase, had to ask multiple times to turn it down and then eventually just turned it off.

Well our waitress Beth and the manager Dan (I think) were brilliant. We had a couple of issues with our starters and a drink and the situation was resolved fast and without a quibble. Very professional indeed. Now we hadn't booked, but I recommend booking as we were lucky to get in. The bar is beautifully decorated with some funky artwork. We were initially in a side room which was cozy, then moved to the main floor. Our service was perfect. All the staff accommodated us perfectly.
