The museum is free admission and there are a variety of galleries and exhibitions throughout including walking down an Old Victorian Street with a variety of vehicles and other transport on display. The exhibitions and galleries to see are Bicycles, Carriages and Motor Vehicles all of which are displayed brilliantly and in spectacular condition are also the information on display about how they were used during the Victorian era and other eras right up to the Modern day is very informative and interesting. You can wander an Old Street during the Victorian era and other periods beyond that and gives an idea of Street life was like from a bygone era. You can also wander inside the shops on display and see what was sold from a bygone era and also take in the nostalgia of it all, which is absolutely fantastic. There is no cafe on site but there is a small gift shop with a small range of souvenirs at absolutely brilliant affordable prices. In fact, I enjoyed myself there so much that I had to reluctantly chop one item from my plans for the day. An added bonus was that I had to walk along the cobbled High Street to reach the museum. The cars, vans, buses and tram were well worth the visit. They have a tremendous array of bicycles 🚲. In recent years I did see someone push a penny farthing along a street in Cardiff. The thought of bicycle polo made me think, in a humorous way, it was a forerunner to the game of shinty. Both sports have a potential for violence though that is not the intent. The highlight was the ride in a Royal Mail Stage Coach (I think from 1868). It is a real bone-shaker with commentary from an imagined driver.
