We dined in after reading google reviews.

What can I say. Don’t waste your money. We walked in. Dead quite, no music, atmosphere or people. Didn’t even smell of food cooking like you would expect in food places.

3 people behind the counter all miserable. The guy joked about it being cold in there. It was very cold. No heating so kept our coats on. They had some electric heaters but they hardly gave any heat. No sure why a restaurant wouldn’t have heating.

Found that the menu prices was only for the burger, add an extra £3 for chips & a drink.

Food came, didn’t look too bad but lacked flavour. I had the Mexican chicken burger. It wasn’t fresh. Chicken was chewy and could tell was just heated up. All it was is a marinated chicken burger that lacked flavour, had in it a bit of salad & sauce and put in an over cooked burger bun.

My husband had a smash burger. Again lacked flavour and had tonnes of sauce in and bit of salad. Again not fresh. We had buffalo chips which wasn’t too bad.

My kids got cheeseburgers. They were not fresh, just reheated & dry. They couldn’t even finish their food and nor could we. All in all a horrible experience. Probably one of the worst we have been to.

The whole hour we were there not a single person walked in nor did the phone ring for takeaway orders.

My husband used the toilet upstairs and had to come and tell the guy behind the counter that it was filthy and needs a clean.

All I can say is don’t waste your money. Go elsewhere and if I’m honest I don’t expect the place will stay open much longer. Shame really. On paper it doesn’t look bad. But soon as you walk in you can...

We got the peri grilled house specials, and chicken nugget meal for the little one, which tasty and of good portions. Chips were crispy, oil could have done with a change though.

Fairly small place, so wasn’t the easiest to find seating at lunch.

Service was slow, we waited around 15-20mins for food. Napkins were forgotten about, which I had to get myself.

Manager/owner is very friendly and offered my son a lolly, which he loved.

Atmosphere wise, quite loud and cold whenever the door was opened. Not something that is controllable with size of shop.

Overall, solid halal option....

We called into Fernandos late after 10pm on Saturday night after a show at the city hall. Ordered Portuguese chilli chicken burger and battered chicken burger meals. Both meals freshly cooked to order, very tasty with lovely fresh chips. Generous sized portions and good quality so worth every penny. Lovely friendly staff, and really nice decor and seating.
