Gallone's Parlour — Restaurant in England

Had a birthday party for our 7 year old here - good fun BUT we’d spent solid money on a special birthday cake only for the staff to launch it off the table and smash it before it was even time to bring the cake out. Now accidents happen and the lady was very apologetic but absolutely zero acknowledgement from the manager or rest of staff that it had dumped on the birthday party. Advice - 1) to the manager, get a table with wheels to avoid launching cakes off of it 2) Maybe ask your customers if the party went ok 3) it’s 25 degrees outside, get a more appropriate AC system. We took our Autistic son here and it was amazing!!! They accommodated any additional needs we had with him and he absolutely loved it!!! McDonald's has now been replaced by Gallone's as his favourite place to go. The food was incredibly delicious and there was so much of it I struggled to finish!!! (I had waffles with ice cream, cream, fudge pieces, chocolate spread etc). One thing that makes Gallone's stand out of the crowd is the fact that it is open early. Other dessert shops in Bedford don't usually open until around 3pm, Gallone's opens at 9:30am most days, allowing us to arrive early and avoid any busy or noisy crowds in town that may upset our son. Been here a good few times now and always had an amazing and friendly experience :-) Lovely ice cream (which you can buy for home), amazing milkshake and amazing hot chocolate. The staff are so warm, caring and friendly, also they chat which is great. Just been in again today and had an AWESOME MONSTER HOT CHOCOLATE. Thanks :-)

These are the most amazing people I know, they will 💯 treat you like family and always make you feel welcome. If you have young children, need to breast feed, change a baby then highly recommend sitting in here for a drink or ice cream. The staff are amazing with kids and breast feeding...
