Gardens Restaurant — Restaurant in England

We're to begin, the younger female waitress are very kind and professional, that's were the good bits end, the manager seems to consistently scream across the cafe non stop, clearly can't manage anything as is rushing around flustering trying to do everything but getting it all wrong. In our visiting seen many people have issues as well, people besides us orders 4 milkshakes and received 2 straws.... When asked for obviously 2 more there just slammed on the table by the manager as they walk past. With our order asked if we want ketchup by manager we say yes and it never arrives as taking new orders is her priority. Food is not good at all. I'm not a fussy person at all but if you like soggy with grease fries bread, 90% fat in your bacon and Tesco value awfull sausages then this is up your street. The young waitress that served us was the only nice part. Food, manger will be the reason this cafe will eventually close as reading others reviews no one is comfortable with her in here. Makes such a hostile atmosphere..... Manager is also in chavvy denim shorts and Nike trainers while everyone else is dressed...

DO NOT EAT HERE! My partner and I went in for lunch, he had an all day breakfast and I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. We both ordered coffees which I’m sure were actually dishwater. The jacket potato was dry and tasted like it had been there all day as well as the beans which had a skin on top of them. The cheese wasn’t even the slightest bit melted, the middle of the potato was that cold. My boyfriends food looked vile, the fried bread was deep fat fried, as were the sausages and bacon. The sausages were cold inside. This is the only time in our whole relationship that I’ve not stolen food off of his plate. Nobody came over to ask how the food was despite there only being one other person in the cafe. When we finished our meal, my boyfriend said he wasn’t happy with it but ate it anyway and the woman was so rude, she said “how else do you expect us to fry bread?” Then went on to say how they’d never had one complaint and threatened to call the police because we didn’t like our meals. My second visit to this (brilliantly located)cafe against my better judgement. Opted to come here for a fairly healthy jp cheese and colesaw. Not a difficult dish to get right I hear you say. Have to admit the food was served quickly but it was clear to to see not much thought had gone into the serving as my husband had a far larger portion of colesaw than I! This was the least of my problems as the garnish if it had been at home was only fit for the food bin and the potato was so hard that I left most if it. Now the girl/waiter did ask if everything was ok but this was as she zoomed by and I had my mouth full of 'food' at the time! For £6.75 for a jp I would expect them to get it right! Complained to who I can only assume was the manager although she was swaning around the kitchen with her obscenely long hair down and told us my jp would be taken off the bill for it not to be!
