On a sunny day in Skipton, we found ourselves at a charming café just off Victoria Square. The outdoor seating was limited but cozy, perfect for enjoying the warm weather. We indulged in a cheese and pickle sandwich on brown bread and an egg mayo sandwich, both accompanied by chips and a small salad. Our refreshing drinks, a Sprite and a Coke, complemented the meal nicely. The setting was delightful, offering a choice between basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, adding to the pleasant experience. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, we felt that the meal could have offered a bit more value for the price. A more generous portion of chips and salad would have enhanced the experience. Nonetheless, it was a lovely spot to enjoy a meal on a beautiful day.

Wow Wow Wow An Italian evening to remember. Arrived early and what a welcome. Front of house welcomed me in with a sparkling glass of Prosecco. Sat down with friends and new friends on a long table that included everyone. The meal started and my taste buds started to explore the wonderful taste of Arancinci, followed by more Italian courses which got better and better with each course. An excellent evening which buzzed all night. Definitely recommend the tantalizing food and there is something for everyone, and when not, the chef always accommodates with other choices. But let's not forget the wine. Not just anything but the wonderful aromatic taste of Primitivo from Puglia, A red hot wine which is a definite must for every meal. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat as Skipton was very busy. We walked in to Greenwood and they were pleasant and accommodating offering us a table in an hour. Thursday night is tapas night and the menu looked fabulous. All of the food was delicious and our only disappointment was that we couldn't not manage anymore than the four dishes we selected! The beer battered leeks with blue cheese sauce was a stunning dish and I have never had anything like it before. The staff were lovely and the food and wine are high quality and great value.

I am the most critical person I have ever met - I find fault everywhere I go. I could not fault a single thing about this place.

It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! The welcome, the atmosphere, the people...the food! The food was absolutely delicious. I order the pumpkin tortellini and from the first bite to the last it was perfect. The texture of the pasta, the creaminess of the filling and the flavour of the sage and sea salt just added the final mouthwatering finish. I didn’t want to it end!

The steak my partner ordered was just as delicious (I have never known anyone pull off a steak like that and it not felt like I was eating the sole of my own shoe!). It was melt in the mouth, juicy and the garlic butter...mmmmm!

For dessert I had warm ginger cake which came with toffee sauce and vanilla with ice cream. The cake was a lovely texture and the mix of the cake and the sauce and ice cream made such a perfect team. Light and not a chore to devour. I cannot give you my verdict on the hot chocolate brownie with ice cream that my partner had - because he didn’t save me any 😥 But he assured me that it was yummy! I figured by how quickly it disappeared! 🙈

Thank you Helen & Gillian. You made me incredibly happy with your hospitality and mind blowing food. I will be back for breakfast in the morning (in fact what time is it? We could still make it for dinner - quick - get the...

We turned up at 17:00 didn't know their opening or closing times but they appeared open- chairs and tables outside with customers etc. My partner went in, to which he was greeted with very rude staff, all contemplating whether or not to serve him. I'd have preferred them to say either they're open or closed...anyway they made us our espresso Martini's for £7.95 each. I was so excited for the fresh coffee. Oh wow, how terrible they were. I would have preferred those expressos from a box. It was literally the taste of a shot of espresso, that's it. No alcohol at all. I asked the lady who worked there- after she unlocked the door to eventually speak to me..and confirmed that there was the sufficient alcohol in the cocktails. Nevertheless, I really couldn't taste it, and I've had my fair share of expresso Martini's. I am all for supporting small businesses but they didn't seem interested in our custom what so ever. We will definitely not be returning. Disappointed to say the least, considering we...

So..Visited this place on the go..found out that it has been recently opened..and was bowled over by the food they served.Let me tell you one thing..when you eat food which has been prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients even the simplest of the food turns out amazing.. imagine doing that to a fine dining kind of cuisine ..seemed like a heavenly experience. Rich food..great flavours. We had ordered fish chowder, the yellow fin tuna with chickpeas as mains (it was mentioned small sizes but the quantity was more than we expected and very filling..yaaay)and a beet with feta cheese served on a flat bread. Every dish was on point..perfectly presented and the taste was amazing. Prices were reasonable and the waiters were friendly. It's away from the main road and so you can have a peaceful meal. I can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu during my next trip. A must try restaurant which I am sure is going to go places with the amazing food...
