I Am Thai Takeaway — Restaurant in England

As a person who eats alot of thai food and can cook it myself and know all the ingredients. This restaurant has been the worse ever. I actually thought it be OK as was busy when I went here for a takeaway meal. The curry was tasteless the starter I had chicken satay was burnt and didn't taste nice. I'm shocked how many people who have gave this place a 5 star review. I also have tried other thai restaurants in the area and thai to go is a must for all you thai food lovers. There are so many thai restaurants now that these bad ones spoil it for the good ones. Will never return to this restaurant and it's no loss when I can cook it far...

Shocking food just received our food new years eve in a hotel the pad thai taste like chemicals the thai green prawn curry was super gelatinous and taste wrong. The starters were dripping in oil coconut rice had some sort of burnt soggie onion produced on top of it, just yuck. Called up to exchange and let them know its not right and they just denied it and said we were new customers so its not there problem utterly disgusting thai food and we have eaten lots in the past this is not authentic at all they are clearly trying to cut corners with cornflower and cheap ingredients. Plenty of other thai takeaways around...

We've eaten from I Am Thai quite a few times now when visiting Torquay and we adore their food. In our opinion its the best Thai food you're going to eat outside of Thailand. This week our order included the Hot Mixed Sea Food, No. 69 - it was amazing! So fragrant & flavoursome, we also had the Sweet and Sour Stir Fry, No. 46, which was superb, really tasty. My personal favourite from this weeks order was the Spicy Tom Yum, it tasted absolutely divine. Thank you once again I am Thai for such wonderful food we look forward to visiting you again on our next stay...
