Pros + The crepes are well presented + Some of the waitresses are friendly + Lots of interesting pancakes to choose from. + Fair prices Cons - I found the venue small and pokey, it's hard to get lost in a good conversation when from most positions customers must shuffle past you to enter/exit. - I found the drinks menu lacking. I told the waitress I didn't know what will be an appropriate drink to accompany a chicken waffle. A more enthusiastic waitress may have made a suggestion or told me what other customers have brought and enjoyed but she just looked at me blankly so I got tap water. - weirdly and quite rudely, they ask you to pay before the food is served. This was a really big problem because we ordered savoury pancakes and wanted to order a sweet 1 for dessert if we had space. It seems the business is set up for you to just eat and go, so we had to flag down a waitress as nobody is walking round asking if you enjoy your food or taking any questions. - the venue is very cold and it's toilet is essentially a sturdy shed in the garden. Verdict This place does have 5* potential because the products are good but for service and comfort there is much room for improvement.

Came here for breakfast for my birthday with my partner and loved it. I ordered a kinder Bueno crepe (not a usual breakfast ik ik I can't help myself) and it was amazing! Unfortunately I didnt have my h of a sweet tooth and it was SUPER chocolate-y but if I came back again I have no doubts I wouldn't be able to scran it in an instant. Both me and my partner ordered the smoothies (me; mango and passion fruit, him; mango and strawberry) only complaints was that the strawberry was very overpowering (were mango lovers) he also got the egg and salmon on toast, again no complaints. Our food came out at different times but I'd rather eat a hot crepe then a cold one đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïž staff there where amazing! There the second we walked through the door, asked us to find a seat and shortly came over with menus. Did ask us to pay after we ordered but no problem there :) 100% would come back and 100% would recommend!! (I dimmed down the 3rd picture for the sale of an Instagram story, it wasn't that dark)

Today me and my best friend had the most delicious vegan cream tea from Jaggers in Rochester highstreet (where crepe and co used to be, opposite ye arrow) A lovely array of savoury and sweet items, unlimited tea with soy or oat milk, excellent service and a nice cosy atmosphere. My favourites were the cheesecake, scones with clotted cream and vegetable tart 😋 ÂŁ25 per person! Had some leftovers and they gave us a box to take everything home with so no food waste. Perfect if you’re vegan/vegetarian or just wanting to cut back on animal products without missing out. They’ve definitely put some thought and love into making a vegan cream tea here đŸ°đŸ«– you have to ring up in advance to book and pay a small deposit to reserve your slot. I highly recommend it, was the perfect end to the weekend. PS: We also tried some of their own Jaggers gin and it was probably the nicest gin I’ve tried in a LONG time!

We visited the cafe after a walk on the Christmas market and destroyed our afternoon. Being extremely busy as it was expected such day and we waited patiently for a table outside, as we used to like the place and our previous experiences was all good. As soon as we sat the first waitress came and inform us that it is customer only seating and we had to go if we don't order (I found it rude but I excuse it due to the day). We informed her that we were there for coffee and asked us to order inside. After a few minutes, a second waitress came and we inform her that one of our party was ordering inside. After a while, another waitress came and inform us that we have to leave if we don't order we explained to her that somebody ordering for us inside. She asked to find out what we are having with very rude way, implying that we are lying. I asked why she needs to know our order and she told me to check if it is being prepared. This was not making any sense as my partner was still inside placing the order. She went in "checked" for order and informed the manager/owner that we haven't ordered. The so-called owner came on our table and told us rudely that "I own the place and you have to leave because you didn't order", at that moment my partner walked out with our drinks. She just said ok and left without even apologize. I went then inside to ask for a complaint box the girl on the till told me to speak with her manager, who was the same person asked to leave rudely. I asked her for a complaint box she told me that they don't have one and asked what was the problem. I told her that they behave extremely rudely to us and she denied saying that wasn't that case. but she offered a refund, I explained that the refund wouldn't change the fact that they were rude on more than one times Meanwhile my partner got informed from our friends for the incidence and he returned the drinks. When I told her that I'll leave a negative review and that she is going to lose regular customers she didn't care and her answer was that she is going to reply on our review. I don't think that I have ever been treated as rubbish and so rudely on a restaurant or cafe. We left very upset and ruined our afternoon. It is pity because we liked the place and we used to take all our friends visiting Rochester there. Never again. If you don't want to spoil...

Firstly, we sat and where asked what we wanted within 2mins of seating, which admittedly may have just been a mistake on the waiters part not realising we had just been seated. I enquired could we place a drinks order and then food in a little bit but was told they’d prefer to do it all together so I relented. However, we then waited a further 15mins to place our order and then once the order was placed we waited for 20mins for the coffees and food to arrive. Truthfully we were told food would be about 10-15mins due to the business but We had to go up and asked where our coffees were; expecting like with most restaurant drinks are brought out before the food anyway. when they did arrive they apologised profusely but then proceeded to spill a coffee onto the table - they failed to replace the spilled coffee with a quarter of it still on the table. We were further asked to pay for the food before we had even eaten it as it had just arrived. Quality of food was ok but not great as expected with the wait and price. When I asked about why I was to pay before I had even taken a bite out of the food, one of the workers explained that they had a history of people running out on them without paying. I pointed out the tablet next to us who had left 10mins prior paid for their food at the end but This was met with a mere shrug of the shoulders. I appreciate why they want people to pay before but was confused by the concept of a sit down restaurant requiring this. As mentioned food was was ok but I can’t imagine I’d be going here again...

Heartbroken and furious after the humiliating experience we had outside this restaurant on Easter afternoon. I was with my entire family—including my 72-year-old mother and my 2-month-old infant—and we were simply standing outside for a moment, using one of the chairs placed outside the restaurant so my elderly mother could sit. It was cold, and we were trying to keep the baby warm and my mother comfortable. Suddenly, a Punjabi woman, apparently a staff member, came out and rudely snapped at us, demanding we move immediately in the most disrespectful, heartless, and aggressive tone. She showed zero empathy, no basic decency, and acted as though we were intruding simply for existing near their restaurant. We were in our traditional Indian clothes after visiting the cathedral, and it honestly felt like we were being judged or targeted for how we looked. I've never played the race card lightly, but this came across as nothing short of racist behavior. In my five years of living in Kent ME4, I have never encountered something so degrading. This town has always embraced my family and me—until today. The owner of this establishment seriously needs to train their staff in basic human decency. You don’t speak to anyone like that—especially not to a family with a tiny baby and a senior citizen out in the cold. I used to love their waffles, but honestly, no food is worth putting up with such vile treatment. This restaurant has lost my respect, my business, and the business of anyone I know who cares about dignity and compassion....
