Kamal Indian Brighton — Restaurant in England

Since moving to Brighton from Hampshire last year, I've really missed a decent selection of curries at Indian restaurants - being a vegetarian I love menus where they just list the curries and you can choose your meat or a veggie option - it's what I was used to and spoilt with in the great curry houses of Hampshire! (Not sarcasm, there are some REALLY good ones).

Kamal's is not the sort of place you'd want to 'eat-in', even if that were an option. It's dated and the staff aren't particularly friendly. But the food is excellent! They always cater to my rather specific orders (I don't like potato) and have a brilliant selection of dishes. Last night they even threw in a free Tadka Dal which was great, and their Sag Aloo (at least the spinach bits... I give away the potato) is honestly the best I've tasted.

The look of the building does make me question the hygiene of the food... only reason it isn't getting a higher score (and that's probably just me...

It is really delicious food .and the price is amazing. I came in brighton and was staying in Travelodge. Before I ordered I checked all near by indian restaurants.I found their price is actually double than kamal Tandoori So I ordered food here and me and my wife actually shocked .we couldn't believe that in £14 we would get this much plenty of food and big chunky lamb tikka pices (not like other restaurents small pieces of meat and full of sauce )and top of that it was very very delicious .so in the middle of my dinner I straight called in restaurent and shared my opinion with them .I really appreciate their quick delivery service and their delicious food .if you want to eat indian food in brighton then definitely try this guys .I am sure you will never regret this .only have the option to give 5 star I wish I could give them more...

In an effort to try more local business during Covid we decided to try Kamal for a little pick me up!

Easily one of the best curry takeaways in Brighton. Authentic Indian food and such an affordable price and they also have an app that allows for a slight discount and simple ordering (...and repeat ordering)

Considering we live very close by we were able to arrange a pickup for just under an hour after we ordered, very simple process.

Also I don't know who needs to hear this but they also offer onion...
