Heard great things about this place from friends and decided to check it out whilst down in Brighton! Actually not one for leaving reviews but just incase somebody is googling great places for coffee in Brighton, honestly one of the loveliest experiences I've had at a coffee shop! Can't recommend enough, everything lived up to what was said about it, great coffee and atmosphere, the food was perfect, aesthetically it's very relaxing and had it's own Scandinavian charm and vibe, had a lovely talk with one of the girls there, I think her name was Jasmin, who was incredibly helpful when I asked about certain foods as I have allergies and she was so lovely! All the staff seemed happy and professional and really made the experience wonderful for me, I even got a big smile and wave goodbye when I left! Just as a side note because I could see somebody left a negative comment here about noise, I didn't experience this at all, like I mean it is a coffee shop so there's going to be some background rustle that's expected, but certainly nothing excessive like a previous review suggests, so don't be discouraged I highly recommend! Can't wait to come back to Brighton and see you...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a cozy and quirky café with great coffee and creative food, you might want to check out this place. The café has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for Brighton.
We had two coffees, and I can’t complain about the drinks at all. The coffee was smooth and aromatic, and I enjoyed the frothy latte art on top.
The only non subjective downside of the café was the flickering lights, which were distracting and annoying. I hope they fix this issue soon, as it could ruin the otherwise pleasant experience.
The other thing that I didn’t like was the lack of classic options on the menu. The food was decent, but a bit too hipster for me. Sometimes I just want something comfortable and familiar.
Overall, I liked the café and its unique vibe. The coffee was excellent, and the food was decent, although not to my personal preference. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to try new and different things, and I would visit again, hopefully with...
Read moreAnother great cafe in Brighton for brunch!
Given they don’t have a proper kitchen, the standard of food here is so good and they do a great job of offering a varied and very tasty menu. There are some fun and unique takes on some Swedish inspired brunch dishes, and there’s loads of vegan and veggie options too. I had salmon, egg and creme cheese on toast and it was surprisingly good. Like very nice indeed! The cakes and bakes are also plentiful and the pumpkin spiced loaf was one of the better ones I’ve had. The drinks options continue to be creative alongside the classics, a creamy and delicious raw cacao latte being my choice, and one I was happy I made! They offer what looked like some real good salads too!
The service was decent and the place was busy, lively, but by no means cramped, with enough space for everyone to feel...
