Iâve been a loyal KFC customer for years, but this visit to the Leicester High Street branch left me sooo disappointed.
What made the experience worst was the attitude at the counter. I asked if I can have less breast (I ordered 10 pieces bucket) but that One member of staff (wearing a hijab) replied in a sarcastic toneâsmirking and frowningâmaking me feel dismissed. Asking a simple question appeared to irritate her and she looked like sheâs avoiding me, and I left feeling like I wasnât welcome.
Why I'm sharing this: Positive service starts at the counter. I understand mistakes happen, but I expect respectful, helpful interaction. This visit was not only disappointingâit felt passiveâaggressive. Iâve visited this outlet before with no issues, and I hope this was a rare lapse.

   Read moreSo I entered the restaurant with high hopes after there recent refurbishment looking forward to a good KFC I then waited in a queue like I'd expect to find that only one person was serving food and at the same time I could hear the manager moaning about seeing the same people for 10 mins and when I was served after waiting the person who served me didn't look enthusiastic and showed it by taking 20 mins on my order alone and then when I got to my seat I found my chicken over cooked to the point it was hard to bite into and then when I went back to ask about it she said that another one would be the same in which I replied so it's not being cooked properly in which she then went round the back and said nothing made me wait another 5 mins to then be given a fresher one and not as overcooked. So disappointed will not be going again any time soon I think the whole team needs to be better managed and kept to a better time schedule on delivering fast food and not to mention my last complaint about the overall store hygiene...

We took our table and placed an order through the kfc app and the order number immediately appeared on the screen near the counter. Within five to seven min max they called our order number and mr.Brodia handed over the order to me and making sure I received everything in the order and being generous with the mayo and ketchup packets he offered to help if there was anything more I needed. He was quick, attentive and made sure we return again as regular customers. Food: we ordered a bucket of 6 original chicken pieces more than enough for 3 adults.
