KFC York - Blossom Street — Restaurant in England

The customer service from one of the male servers was appalling, i went in to buy some dinner after a long day of not eating a proper meal, it's 8pm on a sunday. As soon as I go in to order i notice a server being unbothered and careless about his work, I tell him my order and he askes if i want a side, but because i wanted him to clarify himself as i don't frequent kfc at all (i barely have gone in the past year) i wanted to know what sides, at which he slammed his hand on the counter, turned around said something to his college in an annoyed sort of way and pointed behind him to me, shaking his head as if i'd done something wrong or done something to offend him. At which his collegue, who was a very patient and helpful woman, served me instead. Explaining what was in the sides and helped me order. If i wasn't for her i would've given this a 1 star review. I felt so utterly humiliated and have NEVER been SO insulted before and simply because he was having a miserable day. How atrociously rude!!

If he chose to be paid doing a customer service job he should fall through with the requirements. It's not my job to make his life easier and i'm not going to either. Best bet that's THE LAST TIME i'm ever stepping foot in that shop again!! I don't review shops online but that was THE WORST customer service I ever experienced in my ENTIRE life of living in England.

The food me and my wife ordered was somehow covered in gravy even though the gravy tub had no leaks whatsoever, the chips might as well not have been put in those little chip bags as the whole lot was just thrown into the larger bag. If you want KFC don't go here unless your getting it delivered, at least then you know it's going to arrive in shitty condition.

Couldn't find a way to reply to the owner. The food was ordered in store in person, if you read the review properly I didn't get it delivered just mentioned that the food was packaged and presented as though a delivery driver had just thrown the bag in the car with little regard to its contents, this food was handed to me by your staff in such a deplorable state I'm surprised we didn't get food poisoning, as I've seen in other reviews. After travelling 6 hours from Scotland, the family sat outside in the car, were starving. We pulled up to kfc at 22:30pm only to be welcomed by a staff member in the back ground shouting noooo.

When attempting to place an order we were told we are just about to close so you cannot have any fries. Even though they weren’t due to close until 23:00 and you could clearly see a full basket of fries sat on the side.

When they advise this, I explained, I don’t think this will be ok for the family, let me go and check with them first. Then all you could hear was the extremely rude staff in the background to start cheering as I went to leave the shop.
