Absolutely! Here’s a review for one of my favorite coffee spots:
Monkton art cafe
Tucked away on a quiet street corner, Monkton Art cafe is my go-to escape from the daily hustle. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the aroma of freshly ground coffee and a warm, welcoming vibe. The decor is cozy, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that makes it an ideal spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends.
The coffee here is truly exceptional. Their espresso has a rich, bold flavour that’s perfectly balanced—not too bitter, not too acidic. I’m a huge fan of their americano, especially when the creme is thick and fancy arranged. They’re serious about quality, and you can taste it in every cup.
The staff is friendly and passionate about coffee, always happy to recommend something new. They even remember regulars' orders, which adds a personal touch I love. They offer a nice selection of pastries, too—croissants, muffins, and a killer Portuguese de nata that pairs perfectly with their brews.
Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just need a cozy place to unwind, Monkton Art Cafe is the spot. It’s the kind of place that quickly becomes your favorite—because once you’ve had coffee here, nowhere else...

Having people spontaneously going to play the piano, beautiful art to buy and admire was a delight and lots of thoughtful artistic touches. I'm dairy free and there was a good alternative milk selection, but noy much other choices. The owner found a vegan soup kindly. This was presented really well and tasted great, but was only just warm on delivery. I hope as a cafe they get their stockists sorted as there weren't many cold drink options. We had a joint tab that got separated and lost so maybe paying on order might be a better option Seemed to be a cash only place, but I may be wrong. Be careful of the parking outside as some spaces are time limited. Also small thing but a larger bin for paper towels might be nice....
Read moreI am sharing my experience of trying to access the services at this establishment. It was Tuesday We pulled in by the centre and lights were on, but somehow we felt it didn't actually look open. Anyhow , after trying a while to find parking (we had disabled passengers who couldn't walk far) we pulled in at a distance further away than we would have liked and phoned up just to check it was actually open. Tried twice. No answer. We didn't risk it. Went elsewhere . Google says it's open on Tuesday, so monkton arts need to sort that out, please if you are indeed...
