Arrived at Nando's & were pleased to see no one waiting to go in. We went inside to ask if a table was free but were told to go out again & scan the QR code, which was not clearly visible or marked. Wait time was 15mins, which isn't that long a wait, but, I am disabled & use a walker to get around. This didn't seem to register with the doorman even though there were 2 benches marked for customers available inside. It was extremely cold & breezy outside & I had no where to sit which made my pain worsen.
Once inside however, we were taken to our table which was accessible with my walker. Ordering entails scanning another QR code to access the order system, however, the QR code at our table didn't work on an S7 edge or S10+ but thankfully, it did on my Note10. The order page was a bit iffy & kept hanging or displayed an error message. It took awhile to get it to work properly & process our order, which was quite simple to do.
They no longer do chicken livers, which is 1 of the main reason for going there. Very disappointed indeed.
The food arrived shortly after & we thoroughly...
Read moreHaving visited quite a few Nando's across the country, I can confidently say this one is the best. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are all spot on.
I remember feeling unwell during one visit, and the staff were incredibly attentive and supportive. They made sure I got my meal quickly and checked I was OK, without making me feel awkward. It wasn’t just about being professional—they genuinely showed empathy, which is rare to see.
The portions here are also worth mentioning. Unlike some other branches, where you might feel short-changed, this one gives you a fair portion for what you pay.
But what really makes this Nando’s stand out is the atmosphere. The staff create such a welcoming vibe that it’s a pleasure to be there. You can tell they care about their work, and it makes all the difference.
I originally reviewed this branch a few years ago, but after more visits, I realised they truly deserve the extra star. If I could live here, I...
Read moreConsidering they only recently opened for eat in the process to get a table and get in was simple, quick name and number on the door and when your arrive to your table you have to scan through the barcode on your phone and it takes you to the menu where your able to view the menu easily order and pay.
I think the process was overly complicated and didnt work properly. as the starters arrived the mains arrived 30 seconds after which meant by the time we got to eat our meal it was unfortunately warm/cold.
Chips were soggy and meat was tough and chewy, starters were amazing! (Peri nuts and pitta bread and humous). Nobody came until towards the end of our meal to ask if I wanted a refill as they said we couldn't get the drink ourselves.
Just a bad experiance...
