Nando's Lakeside - Food Court — Restaurant in England

By the way, I'm a certified Google Local guide and I take writing reviews seriously to help other users and of course, add value to what Google is doing. Now read the review. It's worth it, I hope. .... I don't tend to give 5 stars often. Not because some of the businesses or restaurants don't deserve it but there's always something missing or someone not using human and emotional intelligence to serve. The worst is, someone is trying to make what I called, "a 10p profit". Go figure. But today at Nandos, (unfortunately, I forgot her name, probably the floor manager) one of the lady that served us was superb. She paid attention, she asked questions, suggested some solutions and when we both realised that we were not making any headway, she just said, "don't worry, go take it. Enjoy your meal." Now, what we got on the house is only £2.30p or something and we were willing to pay for it but the site was down (and we all know its temporary) and I was hungry and so was my family too. She said, its cool, go ahead and enjoy. Kudos to you ma'am and the meal was extra delicious from that point on. Good job people. Generally, the service here would have warranted 4 stars and rightly so but that extra foresight is commendable and it deserve...

I was excited to try Nandos while visiting Lakeside in London. The place was clean and staff was friendly. We viewed the menu and them the order is done at the register. The guest retrive their own utensils and condoments. However the ice machine was broken, there was no burgers buns for burgers. We ended up trying the sunset sandwich, was pretty good and I did enjoy the flavor of the chicken. The bread that made the sandwich was pretty small yet the 2 pieces of chicken thigh did not fill it up. My mom had the 1/4 chicken and double rice. She liked it, we also had the dragon fruit drink, it was from a box. Overall it was OK..

If you are going on monday to wednsday I suggest you go early. We went around 6.30 pm and all the tables were booked for the night and they weren't taking anymore bookings. We had to try all the different restaurants before we were able to get the last table available. I had not had nandos in well over 4 month so this really was a treat. Loved how they organised everything and how efficient All the staff were. They had paper menus and were not reused all tables were cleaned and we didn't have to move from our table for anything. I wished they had a tip jar or something as we couldn't add any tip when paying...
