Our culinary journey at Nicetta began with the nduja gnocchi, a dish that effortlessly combined light, pillowy gnocchi with a flavorful sauce that danced on the palate. Each bite revealed layers of complexity, showcasing the kitchen’s dedication to quality ingredients and good preparation.
Continuing our gastronomic adventure, we sampled the rustica pizza, a testament to Nicetta’s commitment to traditional Italian fare. From the crisp crust to the generous toppings, every bite of the pizza was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more.

Read moreAMAZING lunch at this little gem of an Italian restaurant. I am really fussy when it comes to pizza .. don’t even get me started on sourdough.. but the pizza here was SUBLIME.
I have never had a pizza in the U.K. that’s more true to an authentic Italian pizza than the one I had here. The topping was just right, a full bodied tomato base, a smooth covering of golden mozzarella & a generous portion of mushrooms, nothing was too much or slap dash or heavy handed. For most people it’s the topping but it almost isn’t important once you taste the base .. oh my god, the base! Light, puffed up, bronzed like an Italian god & beautifully soft with the perfect chew. It’s not often a base can set your world on fire, but this had me burning.
It’s a teeny tiny little place with about about 6 tables so BOOK, BOOK, BOOK. The food did take a long time to arrive as it’s made to order (by a genuine Italian to a family recipe) so it’s worth the wait & who doesn’t love a leisurely lunch? The staff were polite, friendly & attentive throughout too which made it a lovely experience. This place is genuinely full of family flair, flavour & most of all heart .. it really is a little taste of Italy in Dorset & exactly like mama or Nona in this case...
Read moreOrdered here for takeaway using the menu on their website - when we called we were told that was not the up to date menu and a lot of the pizzas we wanted weren’t available so we had to order different pizzas, this new menu which we couldn’t find online or see in the restaurant evidently had more expensive prices as it was about £5 more than expected based on the menu on their website. Upon collection we took the pizzas home (not far) to open and check the pizzas were unfortunately wrong, the most expensive pizza we ordered had been replaced with a margarita. However we called them and they quickly said if we were able to come back they would make the correct pizza and give it to us free of charge which was good! Pizzas were also tasty although the ones cooked for longer were a tough too tough but nothing too bad - they were nice! Overall decent experience and good customer service but they could do with providing up to date menus on their website considering different items and...
