I have now stopped spending my money with oodles. This year especially took the mickey, i have used oodles as takeaway in person and through uber eats as i got few money off deals. on the uber eats large is £9.50 and in person before 3pm its £7 with a drink lunchtime offer or £8 without drink any other time.

the problem i have is recently they have had a alot of staff in training, my order has been incomplete so many times. i live 8 miles from this place, and in peak hours can take 45 mins to get home. i always buy the same box, large, veg rice, spicy chips, chilli chicken, salt & pepper chicken.

its usually the chips missing.

next issue, am not paying so much money for a box full of rice, i want chicken thats what you charge so much money for. at first i thought its just the newbies getting settled in. then the old staff doing the same. if i want a box of rice i will ask for 1, or go get uncle bens for a £1 i dont have to buy your overpriced food.

and the last few visits i tell the guy serving me, less rice, and i get a box full of rice with 4 small cubes of chicken.

in this year alone i have spent hundreds with oodles, even when kingston road was closed for refurb during lockdown i would go to the one in city centre.

but not any more.

takeaways are churning out garbage in the name of food at extortionate prices. change your habits now as this will catch up with you. lockdown and corona isnt going to last forever.

people have a choice and will avoid you. I will personally go out of my way to make sure my family avoid oodles. we work hard for our money and expect to get the minimum you...

I used to enjoy the food from Oodles but the past few times I’ve ordered from here, I’ve been disappointed. Not only with the food but with customer service too!

Yesterday (13th July) I had a horrible experience at the Evington road branch! I placed a phone order and confirmed everything twice and was told it’ll be ready in 10 mins. Got there to collect my food on time but walked in to see the staff all over the place and working at a snail’s pace with other customers just waiting around. None of the staff asked any of the customers anything and after 15 mins of waiting, I had to ask if my order was ready.

I then noticed that my order was incorrect so mentioned it to the lady behind the counter who very rudely disagreed to anything being wrong. I tried to explain that I confirmed everything with whoever took my order over the phone and it’s still wrong but she kept on arguing & insisting that as the manager, she knows what she’s doing. The attitude given by this manager was disgusting and I had to leave the place with an incorrect order as she wasn’t ready to do anything about it. I would give a rating of 0 or minus for customer service if it was an option!

Food was not great and definitely not worth it. Not what it used to be, quality has been compromised and doesn’t taste nice anymore.

This place is a joke with the most grumpiest, rude and laziest staff ever. Will not be ordering...

I recently ordered from Oodles Chinese Box, and I was thoroughly impressed! The convenience of the Chinese box format made it easy to enjoy a delicious meal at home.
