PALMCOCO — Restaurant in England

I’m not usually one to write reviews but palm coco is something else! I went here for dinner and cocktails last week and I’m still thinking about the food now. The variety of dishes and flavours is just simply delicious and outstanding. I shared some dishes from the menu as we couldn’t decide between us. My personal favourite was the miso glazed salmon and the Korean bbq chicken bao buns (I can’t choose between the two). Although all the food was so so tasty and full of flavour. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The cocktails are something else, the best I’ve ever tasted! I personally had kuzcos poison and dragon fruit caprioska.. I would highly recommend. It was very quiet when we went but the decor is fun. The service was very good and the cocktails way better than others in the area. The food was OK, tapas style, nicely cooked and presented, but they put the same sauce on everything, so it all tasted the same. We had the monk fish skewers, the king prawns, grilled chicken, fries and lamb rolls, all of it except the roll came in the same sauce even then I think they mixed some in with filling, if they had done even one of the seafood dishes in coconut and lime/orange or similar it would have added a different note. The rolls were stuffed mainly with potatoes and deep fried, so were very heavy and bland, I personally think lettuce wraps or Vietnamese rice wraps with lamb, fresh veg and shoots would have been a lighter option on what is a heavy and...

Had a wonderful birthday meal at Palm Coco last night. Right from the moment we entered we felt we were for a special dining experience. We weren't disappointed. From the decor which is modern and unique ,to the very friendly and professional staff. We were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
