Stumbled across this place today whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch. They have a delicious selection of really tasty sandwiches which you can have on a variety of breads. Much nicer than the same old Costa, Caffe Nerro selection. Would def reccommend.
The only thing that let down the visit was the attentiveness of the staff. In the 25 minutes we were there, no one cleared any of the tables or cleaned up. It was not busy and staff could be seen chatting and having drinks behind the counter when there was no one waiting to be served. I don't think they even spotted that they needed doing. The floor also needed a really good sweep. Disappointing when everything else was so nice. When we left 5 out of the 8 tables needed clearing. We had to wipe down our own table when we arrived. Not good during Covid times. But as I said, lovely food and the issues could easily be resolved. (Visited...
Read moreGreat place for delicious quick lunch. I had BLT special sandwich (brown bread) and my husband had BLT special in brown baguette. Both delicious. We could not agree what option was better. I would say bread, my hubby would go for the baguette again. Both were really soft, full of chicken, bacon, avocado and juicy tomatoes with lettuce. Staff was very helpful and whole service swift. I asked to remove fat off the bacon and they even managed to do so. We had almond cookies… OMG, these are to die for. If you have a sweet tooth, try it. It doesn’t look appetising or welcoming, but don’t let it to put you off. 4stars only because there could be a bit more mayo in the baguette. It felt a bit dry. But some people could actually prefer it. And tables were left with dirty dishes on and they did not wipe our table down. It was a bit dirty. Otherwise all good and we will...

Oh the prices are high enough to make you think it's classy, but having some radio station blaring out club music first thing in the morning is not particularly relaxing! It was 9.00 am and not very warm in there at all. Try playing the classics or M O R music, it's timeless and gives you the style you're obviously looking for. £2.50 for a small custard identical to M & S at £1.20. Presumably, having condiments on the table is considered too common, so I had to ask for some pepper. A member of staff turned up with an espresso cup with a teaspoon of pepper. I dare'nt ask for the vinegar! Not...
