Fantastic food and exceptional service, we went for lunch and it was nice and relaxed. The service was actually the best I’ve experienced for a long time and the attentive waiter (Veli) who is actually the owners son was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very very good, I’m going to remember it for a long time and will dream of eating their Ali Nazik, it really is to die for. Big bonus is you can see the food being prepared from an open kitchen and restaurant is exceptionally clean. I’m gluten free and this restaurant really knows their menu and can clearly advise on the options available, they even provided me gluten free bread but I didn’t have room as the rest of the food was so good I didn’t have room for it! For the price it was such good value. Thank you so much Meram Kitchen for making our visit so memorable. Veli you are fabulous at your job and we hope to see you next time we visit the UK.

Would like to say a Very BIG THANKYOU to the Meram Kitchen Turkish Restaurant, Christchurch, Dorset. What a wonderful we evening we all had there. I arranged for a party of about 20. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by such friendly staff there. Nothing was too much trouble. The family who run it were extremely attentive to all us. Wonderful bread baked on the premises. The food was so delicious and the service fast. Wonderful athmosphere, very relaxing, seating very comfortable, which I always look for in a restaurant. The mum makes beautiful baklava, to die for. Highly recommend going for a meal there. Thank you so much Meram Kitchen for looking after all of us.

Came here tonight for my wife’s birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly, and the food my word was amazing. We had Mezze to start, which we absolutely loved, would recommend to anyone getting. We then also had the meram platter for two for main, the meat was amazing and tasty. Couldn’t quite finish it all, so took some back in a box for tomorrow. They also brought out Baclava celebration desert, which was the tastiest thing we’ve had, which is made by their mother fresh. We chatted with the owner Veli and he is lovely alongside his brother. Best place I’ve been and would 100% be booking to come back and recommend to anyone. Pics attached. Thank you Meram.

Unfortunately had to change from 5 stars It was my favourite place in Christchurch until last Tue where there was some concert with loud music. I went there with my friend to talk but we couldn't hear each other at all. We were waiting for food for 1.5hr to actually ask for takeaway as my friend had to pick up his daughter.and we never expected to wait so.long. We didn't even hear sorry for waiting so long when paying. At home when we unpacked it seemed we didn't get full portion like always in mixed kebab 1 piece of minced meat missing and there was no rice with bethi kebab. Such a shame as was 5 star for me before. Was completely disappointed with the service.

We enjoyed a brilliant surprise 50th for a family member. Everything was perfect, the food was so good. Really good actually. The sharing boards are well worth the money. Staff are all attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very helpful with the party planning. My only suggestion would be to somehow block the cold doorway with a lobby of some sort, it's really cold sat by the door. And the staff tried their best to shut the door immediately, apart from that small thing. It was a great evening fir a table of 10. Food all hot, served to the right person, all warm and delicious.

This is a wonderful addition to Christchurch highstreet and offers a new kind of cuisine alongside the usual pub, indian, pizza fayre. The service is excellent, the restaurant is busy, buzzy and reminds you a lot of an authentic turkish experience. The food is awesome and lots of it too. I recommend the mezze starters and the Meram Mix is great for a large party (and if you're not sure what to order). Since this place opened I've already been back twice and recommended to others. Go visit. My only minor complaint is that I wish they had Efes on tap, not 'draft in bottles'.
