PJ's Ice Cream Parlour — Restaurant in England

Nothing fancy from the outside, a blink & you’ll miss it kind of place but definitely worth a visit. You’re surrounded by a sea of ice cream In Weston, so it’s hard to narrow it down so we chose PJ’s On a whim & im really glad we did! They have a large selection of traditional ice cream flavours & the classic Mr Whippy with different sauce options. We had been craving Whippy for ages & NOWHERE seems to do it anymore (apart from everyone in Weston) We chose a classic with no sauce & a classic with banana & both were EXCELLENT. Really really good quality Whippy that tasted nicer than the ice cream van stuff. It was a really generous portion & well priced at only £3.50 for 2!! The creamy taste was sublime & took both my husband & I back to being kids. The one downside of PJ’s is the menu signage as it’s a little all over the place which makes it hard to decide what you want & a little overwhelming. The boy who served me was really friendly & kind, explained the Whippy flavours despite being busy & was really engaging.

If you want a taste of the seaside then. PJs is a great place to go & if you’re looking for traditional ice cream too they won’t disappoint as they had 3 freezers...

First time used and last. Took ages to be served, fella was so slow and unthusiastic. Took my friends order, took ages to say what cone she wanted. Then asked again what flavours she wanted. Other server said next, so I moved to his counter. He asked if I was with my friend, I replied and told to wait with her?!? When I eventually got served, took him ages as moved so slow and he went off came back minutes later to say out of flavour I wanted. I was already feeling annoyed so said I would just have an ice cream cone with sauce and sprinkles. Took him ages as I watched him go at glacial pace. Eventually we paid and left. Even after all this I was really looking forward to enjoying it bringing back childhood memories. Literally next second as we walked along the ice creams began to melt and was running down our hands, it went everywhere so something was obviously wrong with their machine/how made. Before we knew it, we were covered hands, clothes, shoes and the wind took the rest as melted so quickly we hardly got any. I'm glad others have had good experiences here, but we will not be using again. Needs much improvement with customer service...

10/10 The first every ice cream parlor I've ever found that does dairy AND sugar free ice-cream. (I have previously search high and low whilst in Venice - the capital of ice cream) they had a total of eight dairy free sorbets as well as six ice cream flavors one of which was also sugar free - strawberries and cream - it was sweet, creamy and refreshing everything you would want from "normal" ice-cream. The service was great too, they were clearly popular as there was a que but I ask one of the assistants about more information regarding their dairy free options and a lovely blond lady, very helpful, stop and helped me immediately, after taking the time to talk me I then offered to que again so she could finish her work and she said no need and service me there and then. I would come back again and definitely recommend to family...
