I've seen this cafe for many years, probably the last standing business in Strood high street from the last 25 years. I decided to visit finally.

The service was brilliant, they were super attentive to my personal requests and made me feel welcome even though they were closing soon and the restaurant at this time was near empty. I was never rushed or made to feel I should hurry up! The owner Ramo acknowledged that he hadn't seen me before and recommended some popular choices.

My personalised Turkish omelette took longer than usual to prepare and I could tell they took their time to ensure it was cooked to perfection, which it was!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will visit again. Ramo even asked me to sample their tomato based chilli garnish which was a homemade delight!

This is a loving family run business who put quality first, hence why they have been around so long!

A must visit and certainly one of Strood's...

Went there for a nice breakfast but all I got was rude staff and terrible food. The place wasn't busy, lots of free tables. Sat down on my own and ordered a coffee and normal breakfast, got my coffee (nothing fancy just normal coffee, three quid??) and waited and waited in the end my wife comes in after doing all her shopping and I'm still waiting. Had to ask where my food was and got told "other people are before you". Eventually got my food, was cold, solid eggs, looked terrible wouldn't give it to my dog. I Told them I wasnt going to eat it, so they charged me the £3 for the coffee and I left. I received no apology and no offer of a properly cooked breakfast.

Disgraceful service & disgraceful attitude towards paying customers.

I'll never give them another penny, they are just not worth it...

Just want to start by saying I absolutely love ramos it's my favourite Turkish cafe I regularly eat here, but ! Today it took nearly 40 minutes to get my food service wasn't the best and wasn't really busy. also to add my Turkish omelette with chips and salad was the worst I've ever had. portion was small salad was so old and was rotten, chips over cooked, omelette also was over cooked and had hardly any filling in it I wasn't the only unhappy customer there this morning I paid but won't be going back because I have had an upset stomach since eating there. Hope it gets back to it's...

Hidden Gem! Why have I not heard of this place before after living in Medway for 5 years… the menu has a lot of choice but opted for the Mediterranean breakfast. It was super tasty and cooked swiftly. The staff are very nice and polite too which makes all the difference. They do also offer cooked breakfast and egg dishes too which I will try next time. You can find a table yourself and one of the team will come to your table to take your order. If you are based in Medway and looking for somewhere new to try this is the place to be 👍

The village of Grain squats at the easternmost point of the Hoo Peninsula within the district of Medway in Kent. The Isle of Grain is almost all marshland. It was pouring with rain when we arrived. So we were forced back inland into the delights of Chatham town. We fell into the arms of Ramos’s Restaurant for a wonderful breakfast and followed by a small fruit plate to round it off! Post-Ramos we drove back to Grain.
