I find I simply can't recommend this place. The coffee is good as are the smoothies and the prices aren't astronomical. However, following some confusion with our friends relating to one of them being unable to eat certain foods, we had purchased food elsewhere. We came here and purchased drinks and were consuming the drinks bought on the premises outside on the public highway with our friends. It was then made clear that this wasn't possible because we had other food with us. This is a me, my pregnant wife and 18m old son. It was eminently obvious when we bought the drinks that we had other food with us. This place therefore took our money and then made a pregnant lady and baby sit next to the shop because the area of the publicly funded highway in front of the shop was not permitted to them. I understand that establishments want to make profit and won't want people consuming other thing on the premises. However, it's a bit different when you've spent a fair bit of money there and you aren't even using the premises but you're sat on a public highway with a pregnant wife and baby. Not my usual stop off for a bacon sandwich! But Bank Holiday today, and not many places open. Ordered a flat white for the wife. A cup of tea for me and a bacon, brie and cranberry bagel. Unusually, they don't offer bacon sandwiches here and they also don't possess a bottle of ketchup, but in these modern times, a change is as good as a rest. The bagel even had rocket in it which, as a fat lad who likes bacon sandwiches, is a complete no no normally! But on this occasion, the whole sandwich was very very pleasant. My Wife really enjoyed her coffee and stated that it was one of the best she had ever had, smooth with a distinct chicory flavour. High praise indeed. Small and chilled out coffee shop with good vibes, amazing toasties and delicious smoothies! This was our first time in here despite walking past on countless occasion, we’re so glad we stopped by this time. We enjoyed 2 ham and cheese toasties along with 2 ‘green’ smoothies. The toasties were so oozy with melted cheddar and loads of ham between perfectly crisp and crunchy sourdough with a couple of pickles on top, yum! The ‘green’ smoothies were freshly blitzed and ice cold, refreshing, sweet and tasty, no bitterness that you might usually associate with some other green smoothies!
