We only called in for morning coffee so I cannot comment on the food, although I also had a blueberry muffin, which was delicious. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and welcoming. It was £9 for 2 coffees and the muffin, not bad for a touristy town on a summer's day. The café lives up to its name as there were lots of pix of fishermen and fisherwomen holding their catch. There was a wide variety of breakfast options.

We had an amazing breakfast here this morning! What a gem we found! The portion sizes were huge, prices really really reasonable with lots of choice, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was clearly a popular breakfast spot, really bustling and busy and we can see why. Would definitely recommend booking a table in advance, but they also do takeaway options too. 10/10, we'll definitely be back! Thankyou guys, Max xx

Visited for brunch 15/04/23. It was busy but managed to get a table, which was wiped down for us as we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome and the chap who took our order was friendly and helpful. We ordered couple of breakfasts, both made fresh and really tasty, the Deckhand breakfast really is something different! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would come again. If I could give 6 stars, I would! :)

I had a wonderful experience at The Fisherman's Cafe in Poole Old Town! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and presented with care. The breakfast menu offers a traditional variety of options. Every bite was delightful!

The staff were incredibly lovely, kind, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. Noticed signs dotted about saying dogs are welcome which is great for both locals and those visiting the area with pets in holiday. The owners thoughtfulness really stood out!

Overall, The Fisherman's Cafe is a gem in Old Town Poole! Great food, excellent service, and a friendly and fab atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit and especially when visiting Poole Quay. The butcher quality sausages alone are worth coming back for. Highly recommended!

If you haven’t visited this place then you need to. It’s not about the breakfasts (which are superbly cooked by the owner Claire in the kitchen and are very good value), but about the service which has to be experienced to be believed.

Mike is a local character and legend. Having completed his degree in hospitality from the legendary “Fawlty Towers School of Customer Service” achieving first class honours in his “Basil Fawlty” degree he is now applying (inflicting?) his skills here at the Fisherman Cafe.

If I could give him 6 stars for his sparkling smile and warm reception I would. He will bend over backwards to accommodate ANY request.

Recommend booking at least 8 months in advance.

Portion as big as your head! Wow! With out doubt, the Fishermans Cafe is by far the best cafe, in every aspect, we have had the pleasure of visiting. As visitors to Poole, we found the Fishermans by chance. Firstly, we were greeted as though we had been regulars for 20 years, not the over-the-top-fake-big-chain welcome but a genuine, friendly welcome. Second, the food. OMG portion size is MASSIVE and OUTSTANDING quality. Really is impressive. Every item on the plate seemed to have been cooked with care and pride. Third, the price. Unbelievably low priced for the quality, quantity and service. Thank you Fishermans Cafe, you definitely filled us up with amazing food to enjoy our holiday. We...
