Soul Suite — Restaurant in England

Well!!!!! Went in for the first time easter sunday around 6pm. The music is fab, lots of people..... BUT......... there were a couple of rude men in their 60s on the dancefloor taking up a massive area with their northern soul dancing, clearly trying to show off and giving regular dancers NO ROOM to dance!!!!!! One of them backed into my fiancée who was at the edge of the dancefloor on her way to the toilet and he gave her the upmost dirtiest look even though it was his fault as it was him that backed into her. (two men, one had a mustard shirt on with braces and the guy that backed into her had a whiter shirt on with grey hair, both probably regulars, I hope someone reading this knows who you are and can point this out to you!!!! ). So besides these two men that seemed to think they had more of a right to be there then anyone else it was still a fab bar and will return. Next time though we will make sure we will dance where we like on the dancefloor and not shoved to one side by the northern soul 'professional wannabes' because we will gladly hold our own and you will be told of you do...

Me and my friend visited Soul suite Blackpool on Sunday 20thApril 2024 Im 67 my friend 72 were so looking forward getting ready excited as we love soul music got Taxi to door about 11ish on sun morning there were 2 ladies in door way had to go in middle of them to get in when we got in there was only another couple in x 2 men at bar with ladies,we got drinks and sat down as all seats empty,All by bar kept looking at us really making us feel so uncomfortable next thing bar staff came over threw sheet paper on table next to us saying this table reservered If she would of been polite and asked us to move we would of done didnt even finish our drinks Never have we been to any Soul Suite and made to feel soo unwellcome being polite costs nothing wont be getting our custom again we had great day after...

Ive given this 3 stars purely because the music was pop party rubbish and not what this place is known for. DJ was abusive to women, shouting no good looking women in tonight. Like hes gods gift. He isnt. It was so packed with silly party people that you couldnt move in there. Even the doorman said this DJ needs to play some Northern or Motown to get some of the idiots out. DJ who wears pork pie hat needs getting rid of. We came from Nottingham for the weekend as it was my birthday. Expecting a good night out here. But it just didnt happen. Had to go upstairs as no room downstairs. Upstairs needs a bar and decent sound system. Then people would go up there. Got fed up of the music by 11.30pm and left.
