How have not had a Turtle Bay in Blackpool.until now?, Absolute belter of an experience as TB newbies. Everything was explained to us about the bottomless brunch menu, what was/wasn't included, how we could upgrade etc. The decor is bright and combined with the music and subtle lighting makes it an absolute vibe 💯 Our server Lucas was an absolute legend. I heard this place has only opened recently & you really wouldn't know. Lucas was keen to make sure we were all comfortable, coming checking in & making sure our orders of drinks were put in early when they started to get busy. I couldn't even tell you all we ordered because we got a bit of Everything. I know for sure my party ordered the curried goat, the roti dish, which was so refreshing. We ordered the Salmon, the peri Peri salad and then some. Expect a Spoons style wander for the loos. They are easy to find, just a bit of a treck. The cocktails matched the vibrancy of the bar, colourful, plentiful and dangerously rum filled 😁 And the secret menu cocktails 🍸 😋 There were no complaints from our table thanks to lucas efficiency, patience and communication. Cheers dude ✌️ Overall love the vibe, the food was Bob on 😁 and will deffo be back.

Today we thought we'd give this restaurant chain a try for an early dinner. Nice food and mocktail. I had the Mo' Bay Chicken with Rice & Peas (which were actually kidney beans, not the pigeon peas used in Caribbean cooking. I did mention this to the waitress as I don't like kidney beans and she just said that's what they call them in the Caribbean 🫤 hmmmm ... I had to avoid eating the beans) & partner had the Jerk Chicken Half and upgraded to the Cheesy Jerk Fries. I thought mine was expensive compared to the plate full my partner got and I could have done with more plantain. The mocktails were 2 for 1 (the same flavour) as it was happy hour. It was very quiet (apart from the unnecessarily loud music) as it was 3pm. Just a couple of tables had customers, so it was hard to measure the atmosphere. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was friendly and swift. I'd give it another go but I'll try a different meal next time.

Early dinner here at the Blackpool restaurant as we were going to a show. Promptly seated and given the menu. Good selection of cocktails and back to the 80s Red Stripe on draught! They do a 2-4-1 on the cocktails at certain times. We ordered the Jerk sharing plater, as the main course and Rum wings and fried dumplings to start. Big shout out to our server KATY, who said if we download the app then we get the wings free. The wings were tasty, nice hint of heat, the dumplings could have done with a sauce, but saying that there are various jerk and hot sauces on the table. The Jerk platter was very good, chicken, pork ribs and spicy sausages. With rice and beans and coated fries. Good food, good cocktails and brilliant Blackpool sunshine. Worth a visit, again big shout out to KATY, who was very attentive, asking if everything was okay, or if we needed anything.

Turtle Bay Blackpool very disappointing!

We visited on 18th October with a large party of family and friends. We were asked to pre-order at the time of booking, which we did.

A few of our group had recommended TB, being regular customers at other locations and rating it highly.

What a shambles! Service was poor for drinks (3 of our party never got a drink at all!). The food began coming out after around 40 minutes but the meals arrived slowly and without sides or starters. The hapless staff seemed to be confused. One of our party, a restaurant manager, had to intervene!

The food was awful. Some dishes were going cold as they were brought out and the spice levels were simply horrendous. The goat curry, a favourite for the regular customers in our group, was over-spiced to the point of being inedible. The beefburger ordered from the kids menu was terrible - a dry, burnt patty and surprise spicy sauce. The mild chicken curry, also ordered from the kids menu - was more spicy than some of the adult dishes. A child’s pizza was inedible. 7 out of 15 meals went back uneaten.

The manager argued that the meals came from a central kitchen and were standard across all TB restaurants. The regulars amongst our group pointed out that they had never had a bad meal in any other TB, but he simply wouldn’t have it.

Whilst the manager eventually agreed to reduce our bill (at the same time continuing to behave dismissively), agreed to reduce our bill. In the first instance, he only deducted 3 kid meals. And cheekily added a service charge! After much to-ing and fro-ing, he agreed to deduct the meals that were sent back.

Very disappointing! The regulars in our group were apologetic having recommended it and the newcomers to TB have suggested they’ll never go again....

Food was great - very tasty Service from Ben - amazing Service from other members of staff - terrible. Rude and impatient. Atmosphere - alright.

arrived at 3pm for bottom less brunch. Waited til 20past for a drinks order (had to go up and ask for service) first drink arrive after 3.35pm. Was informed the 2 hour capacity for bottomless brunch started at 3pm no later?! Order a drink via a waiter at 3.55pm at 4.25pm chased different waiter 'ben' who was more than happy to help. Order 2 lots of drinks for us. At 4.45pm no drinks arrived got up to speak to manager who we observed rubbing his brow, seemed impatient and quite dismissive told us we had above average times for drinks being ordered and shouldn't be concerned as we had 8 drinks delivered in 1.5 hours (there are 3 people in our party). We were then informed they don't normally allow double drinks being ordered but they will allow this one time! We explained how unsatisfied we are with the service of drinks as we had to wait for over 35 minutes for 1 drink with no waiter actually entering our drinks order. As a group we are very unhappy with the 'conditions ' of the bottomless brunch they offer. In future we don't feel like turtle Bay blackpool can accommodate comfortably bottomless brunch without long waits for drinks and having to chase drink orders 3 times+ over the space...
