Yates - Market Street Blackpool — Restaurant in England

Seemed a decent enough pub when we went in as s party of 15 up stairs had a few children with us around 7.30 we all ordered at bar downstairs some food came quickly but most had finished by the time the rest came. Waitress was quite rude and not very happy at all nothing was said about the children at this point and around 8.20 we were all told to be out by 8.30 coz of the kids beating in mind they were all 14, 15 and 16 yrs old so hardly small kids running around! The policy on their web page stated kids welcome until 9pm when approached by the bouncer who later got manager they didn’t even know it was 9pm on the web! Children hadn’t even finished their meals when we left. Safe to say a major complaint had gone in to only get quite a “we can’t be bothered “ reply so the complaints from all parents have now gone to head office. End of the day we were on a trip for some of the older kids from wales boys and girls football club and if we had been treated in a better manner would have gone back so they lost out on quite a bit there. Plus one girl ordered steak to what we can only resemble as coal absolutely disgusting. Thank god yates near us is not like that! So we would definitely not recommend if your thinking of family time with kids they take your order then...

Where to start… oh yeah I got the sausage and mash. The sausages were not Cumberland sausages as advertised. Felt like I was eating one pound sausages no taste to them mash I didn’t eat at all was disgusting.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE DISABLED. What an absolute joke and embarrassing the disabled toilets are asked for them to unlock the toliets wished I hadn’t…. The back support cushion has got fecal matter and urine on it. There was also a big urine puddle I by accidentally stepped into. The walls are a disgrace I can tell those toliets never get cleaned by all the flies that were flying about I can also see developing mold on the walls. Staff are a joke ordered a chicken and bacon burger they brought out a plain beef burger then he tried arguing with me like my sister and mother didn’t hear me say that order otherwise they would of corrected me and then continued to talk behind my back to a blonde person. Never coming back here again you need a serious refurbishment and actual competent staff that can clean, cook good even though I believe it’s not the chefs fault for low quality of food. Never again...

Went here on Friday 30th of August with a party of 15 people, 5 were children aged between 14-16 so not young children to cause a scene, we got to Yates all ordered food they told us to go upstairs and we did to watch the Cardiff match this was about 7.45, they brought our food and at 8.10 they told us that the children had to be out by 8 30, some of us hadn't even finished our food by .8.30 but still told to leave by one of the bar staff, then a female waitress came up and she was very rude and the faces she pulled she needs customer care training, then we were approached by security but by this time we found the policy and procedures of Yates and all children have to be out by 9pm, we showed the policy to the security guy and even he was shocked, he said there was a sign downstairs stating it was 8.30, I went downstairs no sign was there but they wasn't long putting it there.We had no time to complain how bad some of the food was but one youg lady had a steak and it was black I really feel you should reimburse her for the steak it was awful.
