I’ve been here for my first time ever as it’s my first time in Cornwall after a long bus Journey from London! We arrived at 07:15 in Penzance bus station and I thought it would be a great idea to have a breakfast and a coffee to stretch our bodies after the Long journey we had and before we carried on to the bus towards Porthcurno! Many of the restaurants in London they open after 8! I’m impressed that they’ve been opened at 07:25 especially when the lady on the till told me that they’ve been opened at 6! Anyways, let’s go to the most important part! THE FOOD! It’s been cooked with lots of love by the chef and the FEB was just lovely and fresh! Everything in my wife’s and mine dish cooked to perfection and I loved the fried bread added on it as no one does it in London unless if you ask! Reasonably priced and a very nice atmosphere!
My only complain is that I asked my breakfast to come without Tomatoes and it came with tomatoes(They obviously wrote this down to the order but still it came with tomatoes) . I didn’t want to send the dish back cause I’m not a person who sends a dish back for a wrong ingredient or trying to make a fuss for that unless if something is not cooked properly or just having an intolerance! We are human being and of course we gonna make mistakes but it didn’t broke my overall experience at all! You do work very hard guys and I do recognise this and keep the job up! I look forward to see you again in the future if I visit Penzance again! Highly recommended, if you need a quick break!
Etc. It’s not like I hate mushrooms but I hate...
Read moreAfter a long early morning journey from The New Forest we stumbled across this great place, after being turned away from another planned place for breakfast. This Little Gem of a Greasy Spoon was really friendly, so much so Dogs are allowed inside. It's just a small Portercabin, so not that big inside really. There's seating outside too. We both had the full English Breakfast and 2 Coffees. All at a very reasonable price, followed by Toast and Marmalade and another drink each. All was cooked to perfection. WE can really recommend a visit to Sullivans Diner, well worth a visit especially if you want inexpensive food and friendly Service. Thankyou very much to the Staff who made a weary couple feel...
Read moreI am a British guy who lives in Singapore. I have been coming to Sullivan’s since 1988. In fact, one reason ( apart from loving 🥰 Porthleven) why I travel so far is to experience Sullivan’s food and service in Penzance. I fondly remember the late John - he was was jovial, positive and so friendly with his customers. Now his wife and family run it and the food is equivalent and the cordiality has been maintained. The portions have always been generous and the prices are fair. I totally love this place and will be back on February (19th) 2022 for a month with my friends to enjoy this fantastic restaurant once again. Sullivan’s Diner is truly a gem 💎...
