We were lucky enough to get a table here for Sunday Lunch and it over delivered in so many ways. My boyfriend is currently on a low FODMAP diet and so can't eat foods such as onion and garlic. Usually this makes it near impossible to dine out but the chef at The Bedford Tavern was incredibly accommodating and made a whole new batch of potatoes and gravy especially. The food was also delicious. Often when you have a roast away from home it doesn't taste quite as good. Without fail, the staff are lovely, welcoming & efficient. It takes a lot to run a good, local pub. The team here provide this in spadefuls.
