This is our first visit and a lovely location . The staff are really friendly and polite . We ordered coffee (Americano) no milk . In this day and age with fab local coffee suppliers how can you get an awful cup of coffee ?!! I’ve had great coffee making it myself using Lidl coffee and a cafetière!! Also outside a rural taverna in Greece, fab coffee . This tasted like a very weak instant coffee!!! Awful! For £2.20! The lunch, however, asparagus with poached eggs on sourdough was very tasty if a bit cold! My partner’s bacon sandwich on sourdough was also a very generous portion and tasty . The waiting staff are fabulous. Very polite , helpful and friendly .

Read moreExpensive , I think they think they are a little exclusive and attentive , however, the food and drinks delivery leaves a lot to be desired. Under filled mugs of tea with a large teabag, take the bag out and you only have half a cup....I asked for extra hot water twice! About 3 quid for a half cup. No thank you!!! My friend complained his coffee tasted of chemicals! The cheese toastie was a disappointment,"sorry we are out of sourdough, so it will be served on a bloomer".... Very small for the money .

Read moreBrighton and Hove Council decided to not make this wheelchair accessible when they did the big refurb a few years ago. I suppose they must think a bit of old fashioned wheelchair discrimination is something to be celebrated.
