Tried the shawarmas at Kambis Lebanese Restaurant on Western Road in Brighton, and they were amazing. These shawarmas are some of the best I've ever had. They are packed with flavour and just the right size; not too small that you feel like you need more, and not too big that you feel overly stuffed. I also had the falafel, which was very nice. Unlike some places where falafel can be dry, these were actually good and flavour-packed. The service was excellent as well. We opted for takeaway, but the interior of the restaurant looked very nice. The people at the counter were very kind and smiley, which made our time there even better. It's definitely worth trying!

We've been happy customers of Kambis for years, both for sit down meals as well as regular takeaways (especially of their spectacular chicken & lamb mixed shawarma plate with salad), and we have always found all the food to be exceptional. The portion sizes are extremely generous (we always share one shawarma plate between the two of us, and it's plenty!) and the value for money is outstanding. The service is also always wonderful and super friendly, and the staff are just genuinely lovely people. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Brighton and the quality of their food is unbelievably reliable. Highly recommended!

One of the best Lebanese restaurants I've visited so far. My partner and I ordered Lamb neck with rice and Kambi’s Charcoal Grill with rice and Salad. The food was mesmerisingly good. I’m salivating thinking about the food even when I’m writing this review. The gentleman, who served us, was very polite and helpful. Finally on the house Mint tea was perfect to finish off our meal. Nonetheless, I think, the baklava needs some improvements (as I’ve had more tasty ones in Turkish shops). Overall, I’m very satisfied. I’ll definitely visit there next time I go to Brighton.

4 us were booked in for 7.30 last Saturday 21st. Unknown to us they had booked in a 16 male stag doo on the table behind us, in which is a very small space. They were loud, shouting, swearing and being obnoxious. They were so loud that it was not possible for us to have a conversation with the person in front of me. On several occasions they were told to be quieter by the poor waitress who was pregnant but after 2 minutes or so they would get louder again. The owner near the end comes and tells us that he usually doesn't book stag groups(I wonder why) but he made an exception for this one as one of the guys had been coming to the restaurant since being a kind. So why book other people in close vicinity? I approach him after we finish our meals and say to him that we should get a discount for our experience being ruined. The guy just flipped out on me! 'How dare you ask for a discount, I am so insulted, what do you expect on a Saturday night' I told him that I would be able to expect to be able to have a conversation with the people I'm with. He carried on his tirade at me, so I told him that I would be writing reviews online about his treatment. He told me fine go write reviews on trip advisor, facebook 'I don't care' So here i am writing this review having never been treated so bad as a customer, hoping that it puts at least 1 person off. It's a shame as the food is quite good and a few of my friends have been before. None of us will be back so he has lost at least a few...

Met up with my daughter on her lunch break. She had been recommended this place by a colleague and I am not surprised. From the outside it looks similar to other kebab shops in the area, but inside is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff, really fast service (handy when on a lunch break) and delicious food. We decided to order a mix of starters to share, instead of mains, and so enjoyed a fabulous variety of hot and cold starters with flatbread. The ful beans were amazing, and even the hummus was the best I have tasted. I looked at the menu online before I went but it does not show the starters that are available on the menu in the restaurant where there is a really good selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat. If you are in Brighton and you like Middle Eastern food you really...

SO BAD! DO NOT BUY! we ordered shawarma, mixed and one chicken and it was HORRIBLE! It can only FULFIL mouths which cannot handle spice. Furthermore, the meat was not cooked, seasoned and the sauces which we had ordered did not even come through the takeaway. What was even more shocking was that the wrap was not included and the meat and the salad was put on a tray by itself. It was so disgusting I could go eat some porridge for days thinking about this meal. Nevertheless, I AM SHOCKED AS IT CAME UP TO £50 FOR SOMETHING WORTHLESS! GORDON RAMSEY WOULD CANCEL THIS RESTAURANT IN A MILLISECOND. As an INDIAN THIS RESTAURANT IS BAD THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER ONES! HONEST REVIEW, and the kebab store a couple of yards left from the store is BETTER....
